Being late for school sucks. Especially when you are running so late you don't have time for breakfast and meta-prodigies need their calories in a BIG way.
Finding yourself on such a day in Milliways instead of the cafeteria totally makes up for all of the above as now you can get something better than a carton of milk and a banana…if you have enough change that is. And so cue one aspiring superhero counting the change her mom had given her. Nearly two fifty! She just might have enough for chocolate milk and peanut butter crackers and a banana.
When her order appears with it is also a stack of comics. Confused, Julie says, "I didn't order these."
Just something for you to read while you eat dear, Bar replies via napkin.
"But, I only have enough for the food," Julie whispers nervously.
Then return them when you are finished.
"Oh. Okay then, thanks!"

Of course, neither do a lot of them. Superman, for example, or Mr. Fantastic.

There's a message there for Julie if she'd see it.

Funny, he appears to know what she means. Even though they have clearly never met before. >_>

"I'm Julie," she says once she's caught her breath. "Have we met or do you know Tyler? Or are you from my world?" All good reasons for understanding what FISS means in her book.

"I thought it'd be more fun to play with the legos and stuff than be someone else." Plus she figured she has enough trouble being herself to try being someone else.

"Like I said, a lot of people feel that way. Dani doesn't like to change either." She's got her own special reasons. "I'm someone else all the time, though, this is just a little more complete a change than usual."
