The Fool (Sometimes called Alexander) (

There's a shady spot outside where the sun dapples the ground under the branches of an apple tree. A few over ripe apples have fallen to rest and rot, but other than that it looks like a nice place to sit. Maybe lean against the trunk or rest in the branches. The air is certainly mild enough for it.
Under the tree, in its shade, the Fool sits cross-legged looking contemplative. At his feet there's a dead bird. It's some brightly colored bird of a sort he's never seen before. He thinks it might have been a song bird, but he doesn't know. He doesn't know birds or animals at all.
The color just caught his eye and so he watches it. The way the light plays off the feathers as the wind moves the leaves above him.
It could be considered morbid.
Or it could be an appreciation for the beauty that he sees.
Who knows.
((looking for distractions. We had to put our parakeet down today and I is sad.))

The dead bird isn't an easy sight but Alexander looks in need of company.

Loosely translated that would be. 'yes please, I wouldn't mind it'.
The dead bird is not at all an easy sight, but it is one that he feels must be seen.

Death is always there and a reminder of her daughter's other life,
"You've found a beautiful place to sit."

"It was the light and color that attracted me to this spot. And the tree. I have a fondness for apple trees. They seem to be around in important parts of my life."

He hasn't been sure what the rules are for archetypes after all.

She's not sure why he couldn't and its her garden.

He was discussing it with the Doctor on if the blocking of his doorway meant that he couldn't go through others since he was an archetype and thus sort of existent in all realities.

"A sad sight, that. Poor creature."

"A beautiful one though," The Fool says. "I've not seen a bird like it before."

He contemplates the bird for a moment, and lays it down close to the tree, tiny feet pointed away as he uses his fingers to pull up some of the grass and dirt.

He watches the other and the bird. He hasn't stopped him from touching the bird but hasn't touched it himself.

The lad bit amuses him a little.

Finvarra's just full of metaphor, isn't he?

"I have been listening, but that means nothing. Besides an underground bird could be a proper bird. The Traveler says that a bird just needs to have feathers and lay eggs to be a bird."
