The door opens very firmly - one might even go so far as to say that it slams open. This is likely due to the fact that on the other side of the door is a black-clad young lady wielding a wand with a rather commanding gesture.
A moment after the door slams open, her eyes widen slightly in surprise, and moment later, she floats through, landing just on this side of the door. An almost absent gesture behind her sends the door slamming shut again.
"I was not expecting this." The words are spoken absently, more to herself than to any other being that might happen to be listening, though of course, any who are are welcome to answer.
If, however, no answer is immediately forthcoming, Rose Lalonde will begin a thorough investigation of her new environs.

Because the MM thread was awesome and Thirteen has a soft spot for kids...
The door slams open, and Thirteen's attention is drawn away from the comic book in front of her. Sneakered feet are removed from the table top, and the woman straightens in her seat before replying to the absent words.
"I doubt anyone ever does expect this place. It's like the Spanish Inquision in that sense."
:D
"You are... Are you human?"
She. Has to know. This is impossible, and yet.
<3!
The pauses, looking over the girl and her stunned expression.
"First time here?"

"Is it that obvious?" she asks.

Rose considers it a moment before stepping closer, settling crosslegged in the chair.
"So what is this place?" she asks. Worry about how she is speaking with another human later.

Oh now that is interesting. Very interesting. And--
"Multiverses? So there are humans in other universes then?"

"Mind you, humans aren't the only species to frequent the bar, either, all sorts pass through here."
no subject
Naturally, her first thought is of the trolls.
no subject
Sadly, she has not met any trolls. Sorry Rose.

Other such nicknames include Thirty-One and Lesbian, but the narration will disregard those for now.
"Nice to meet you, Rose."
no subject
That is about when a flash of light catches her eye, and she turns her head to see the Window.
O____O
no subject
Shit.
She can't even give the kid any booze to help with the shock, either.
"Welcome to the end of the Multiverse?"
Beat.
"You're safe, don't worry."
no subject
"...What?" she manages after a minute. That is just.
It is.
WHAT.
no subject
"It loops. At least, I think it loops. Could just be showing a different universe each time"
no subject
Her Universe. That is happening to her Universe, right now, and to the trolls' Universe, and who knows how many others.
no subject
Beat.
"But you'll get used to it, along with most of the other craziness that goes on here."
no subject
"I doubt that I will have the time," she replies. Because while it is nice to know that humanity continues on, one way or another, she has friends to save.
no subject
"That's the wonder of Milliways, Rose, you have all the time in the multiverse while here. You can stay in here for days, and once you leave through your door, no time will have passed at all, in your world."
no subject
"Are you serious?!"
Why has no-one told her of this place before? Hell, why has no-one told Dave? Unless Dave already knows, and has not told her... But she doubts that that would be the case; in their current situation, she plans to contact everyone that she can.
