Max is a bit banged up, and his clothes are somewhat the worse for wear when he walks back into the bar.
And heads straight for the bar.
Max is thirsty! And the first thing he wants is a whiskey.
Or two or three.
Then company! Max likes company! Especially the attractive female kind. Though, really, he's not terribly picky.

"Oh, hey. Hi there," says Ellen, as she approaches with her dog in tow. "I haven't seen you since the fight with the giants. How are you doing?"

(She's 5'3", for reference. And nineteen, with several notches in one ear in addition to other scars and markings.)

He waves at the stool next to him in invitation. "So is that a custom piece of work?"
no subject
The black-and-grey heeler does so.
"Thank you, Dogmeat... anyway, it's about two hundred years old and I found it in a tunnel under a ruined city. The last person to wear it didn't have a helmet and died of a headshot."
no subject
"What'll you have?" he asks quickly, pausing for a moment before continuing. "How'd you solve that little problem?"

She rubs at her nose for a moment before she answers, "I wound up having to buy a helmet from Quartermaster Durga, in the Citadel. Headgear tends to be in short supply back home, but I got really tired of, well-" She waves a hand vaguely at some of the scars. "Sooner or later someone was going to get lucky, you know?"

He's gotten considerably larger, on the other hand. Which is to be expected. Or it would be in any ordinary world. Around here, goodness knows.

Enzo's eyebrows raise at the sign of the Aleran. "I... remember you," he says, his voice significantly different from last time they spoke. His tone suggests that he's not sure whether or not recognizing Max is a good thing.
