The weather is somewhat murky today, dark clouds gathering over the lake in preparation of a thunderstorm towards evening time. Teja didn't even light a fire today, on account of the stifling warmth.
He is not working metal today, but wood; he is making little animals on wheels that might be toys.
The forge cats are playing with the wood shavings.
The forge is open for business or browsers, friends and strangers, alike.-

"Less grim, little forge-master?"

"I make toys for the children of my people," he says.

Today his mother is being visited by what feels like far too many gentlemen from the railroad and he left for fear of losing his temper.
He ducks into the forge as the rain starts to fall and nods to Teja, "Hello."

"Greetings, William Evans," he says.

He offers his hand to the cats and searches in his pockets to see if he has any food for them.

The movement helps him settle and look steadily less annoyed at the world.
