After catching his finger on something last night, Guppy's hand has been... itchy. And his door has apparently disappeared, which is rather rude of it.

He's currently in a booth, peering at his hand again. He peers closer. Looks like there's some sort of rash coming off it now. Great, probably caught it on something he's allergic to. He rolls his sleeve up and examines the little red spots. Glaring at his arm, he gets up and goes to the infirmary to find antihistamines and cream for it.

Some time later, having had little success with either, he's in a booth, experimentally dabbing mayonnaise on the rash. He's not entirely sure why, but it feels a little better.

"Hey, Guppy. What's up with your skin?"

"Not sure." Guppy says, scratching at it. "Infirmary computer's not coming up with anything."

"Seriously? Here?"

When it's not in the Milliways database, you know you've got something unusual.

"Yeah." Guppy says. He doesn't look quite as bad as the above icon at this stage at least.

"I showed Dr Hadley but she doesn't know what it is either. Said just to keep an eye on it."

"What're you putting on it?"

It looks pretty much like any other lotion or salve, but... it's in one of those little condiment cups.

"Er... mayonnaise. The computer suggested it, I'm not sure why. Seems to be working.

Bit sticky mind."

"Weeeeird."

"Yeah." Guppy says. "But I'm open to trying new things, and the hydrocortisone cream wasn't working."

"Hydro...?"

"Hydrocortisone. It's a kind of ointment."

"Okay. Um... does mayo usually help with rashes?"

"Not to my knowledge."

Sure it does.

"Very weird."

"Yeah... how are you?"

"I'm good. Actually, I was thinking I'm probably ready to start bringing Users to visit the Academy. Though maybe we better wait, if..." He waves at Guppy's arm.

"Yeah, I might need a bit longer." Guppy says, eying his arms.

"It's cool, there's no schedule."

Guppy scratches at the arm again.

"Fry started his first day of school before I got Bound."

"How'd it go?"

"Not too bad. Couple of misunderstandings, but nothing the school can't work with."

Guppy orders some tea from a passing rat.

"Apparently when they did a numbers lesson at the beginning they asked the kids if anyone could read the numbers on the wall. Fry stood up, pushed through the other children, declared it was 'Twelve thousand three hundred and forty five', then walked off. And later on became the only child ever to break into his box in order to do more maths."

Enzo grins. "He'd make a good sprite."

"Yeah, they just need to stop him breaking into things." Guppy grins.

"We were kind of worried, but it looks like the adults are more nervous than he is."

"And they can probably handle being nervous better."

"I guess so long as he's happy it doesn't matter." Guppy says. "He didn't swear or strip at least, and he's not got into any fights yet."

"Sounds like a win to me."

"Yep, let's hope day two goes well too."
