Sarah, or whatever her real name is, is sitting at a table with an assortment of hotdogs, wursts, sausages, and kielbasa before her. She does not have a competitive eating contest in mind, though. She does not want to give anyone the idea that she has any title such as THE DEVOURER to defend.

Nope. This is not the goddess of death and destruction. You will have to look elsewhere.

Also before her are several dissection kits. Her attention at the moment is devoted to a salami that has been pinned down and cut open. It is not like she hasn't ever seen such processed food before... but, she has her reasons to do what she does.

"You know, conventional wisdom has it ya really don't wanna know how those things're made," Ben says when he sees what Sarah's up to...or at least what he thinks she's up to.

"Why not?" She looks up, but doesn't recognize the face. She has her suspicions about who this person is but, well, she already met a Ben who didn't know who she was. Milliways... "Hi, I am Sarah."

"We've met though I was more rocky an' orange before. It's Ben, Sarah. Ben Grimm? An' as to why not well salami's made with all sorts'a parts of animals most folks don't wanna know about."

"How ya been?"

He says that so causally... she eyes him. "So. orange and rocky to ... fleshy."

You are not getting away with not explaining that one, Ben.

He nods back. "Fer a few days more at least. Then it's back to ol' cragy."

More of a demand than a question.

"It's complicated but I'll see if I can explain. See everyone else on my team can turn their powers on and off except me. Something about the cosmic energy reacted different with me and my powers are always on. Reed, that's by best fried, has been trying to turn them off forever but only had limited success before the powers would go back on.

"Some kids Reeds teaching figured instead of turning turning my powers permanently off, what about an in-between or temporary state. It worked and the kids think the temporary state might even grow longer as time goes by.

"In other words, I might get more control over my powers and be able to turn them off or on."

"Powers…"

"It is something you are. Something you became. And you want to turn it on and off." She has issues with shapeshifters.

Not that she doesn't ever use magic to deceive others about her appearance. Those are illusions and mind tricks, they don't count.

"True but I wasn't born this way. It wasn't my choice though I've accepted it...fer the most part," Ben replies with the last part nearly not said at all.

"I suppose it is just something new." It doesn't sound like an explanation she accepts. "Is that why I haven't seen you around here lately?"

"Actually fer me it's only been a day or so since last I was here. Weird I know but that's Milliways right?"

"That's interdimensional travel for you, actually." She gets back to poking around the contents of the salami.

"Well since only a day or so has passed, there isn't much point in asking what else has happened, is there? Beside this new… thing."

"That's true. Well...let's see. Sue is out playin' Switzerland between two undersea kingdoms, Reed is out in space keeps Galactus from gettin' pissed an' eaten Earth and Johnny an' me at left at home to watch the kids."

See, not much happens from day to day for the Fantastic Four.
