A scrap of paper with a haiku on it has been attached to the reminder about not eating free food:
Hot-dog-smiting types:
Got some info from hotline.
Ask for Apollo
...He didn't leave it at that, of course; there's a description of himself, so people can find him. But the haiku's really the only part that bears mentioning.
Apollo himself is at a table, people-watching (and watching for nasty-looking hot dogs, of course). You can bother him whether you want to know more about the current problem or not.
(OOC: This one's open as long as it needs to be; I'll probably need to call slowtime around 10 EST tonight, but feel free to tag in anyway.)

"Not sure what one of the words means," she admits pointing it out, "English has so many it's hard to keep track of them all."

Why do people make these things? Really.

Literally. Transdimensional phone calls put quite a load on the technology.

"What in Tartarus?" she says with a puzzled scowl.

(Because... really, a shower of gold coins? That's just not fun or comfortable for anyone.)

She blinks a couple of times and then says much more politely than she had been ready to, "Excuse me?"
[*Thanks for the weird awkward canon]

Apollo shrugs. "That and they're biting people and giving them a rabid case of condimentia, from the sound of things. I've yet to see a victim up close and personal, and I'm not sure I want to."

"Wait, are you talking about your Dad, these hotdogs or are they the same? Who are you?" It's amazing how confusion can clear a head.

He... actually looks a teeny bit hurt by her last question. "What, didn't you see my little haiku masterpiece there? Thought that would've given it away, especially to you."
(He's trying not to creep her out by using her name. But he knows exactly who she is.)

He can't do more than guess when this started, but if there's already a lunar cycle involved, that seems like a good one to him.

Yes, this sounds weird to him, too, which is saying something.

At the very least, maybe that'll help keep the poor guy in his right mind.

Seek for Sarah Black
It is signed with a name mortals can't read but one that shouldn't give Apollo trouble.
She didn't know beforehand whether this Apollo fellow was a god or not. Then again, she doesn't really care if a mortal loses a memory or two trying to read it. At least she left a fake name and a description of herself. She isn't totally thoughtless.
