There's a Man in Black striding in through the Door. It's been quite a while, and he wasn't actually expecting to end up here tonight. As the Door quietly shuts behind him, he slips that shiny black phone of his back into an inner pocket of his Suit, and takes a seat at the Bar. As usual, he makes a point of ignoring that pain-in-the-ass shrink a few seats down.

There's a napkin waiting for him as he settles in. He eyes the writing on it and nods. "Too right, Darlin', been much too long. I'll have the usual, if you please."

A double of Eli Lockhart's finest bourbon appears with a *bamph*. K lifts it up, admiring the look of that wonderful stuff under the lights of Milliways and offers what looks suspiciously like a smile.

"Back in the saddle. About time."

"Hello, Enzo! How's the bar been treating you?"

"Can't complain. What's the weirdness lately?"

"The usual. Alien invasions of Earth. Couple galactic wars."

"Oh. And the Dentazi tried stealing the planet's entire supply of peach jello again." He shrugs. "It's a thing."

So many questions.

The first one that comes out is "...all at once?"

"Yeah, I know. Just a slow month, I guess."

"No, I mean... all the jello?"

"All the peach, yeah. We tried to get them to try the cherry and the lime. You know, give those peach orchards a rest, for heaven's sake. But nothing doing. It's peach or nothing for those guys. And the Dentazi never go for 'nothing.'"

"What are they gonna do with all that jello?"

"Well, their homeworld's southern ocean dried up, apparently, and they figure filling it with peach jello is just what they need."

"...They never claimed it made sense."

"...might make swimming tough," Enzo says weakly.

"That it would. But then, they always struck me as more the wading and floating type."

"Not that it matters. We're not about to let them get away with it. Never been partial to peach jello myself, but it's the principle of the thing."

"Well, yeah." Pause. "How do you steal all the peach jello, anyway? Not like it's all in one place."

"Dimensional portals," K sighs. "Had us running all over creation, just trying to plug them all up before they could get going."

Enzo shakes his head, trying not to laugh

"Glad you think it's so damn funny," K replies. But he's smirking too.
