Over in one corner of the bar today there is a young man with a tiny, very sharp carving knife and a few pieces of bleached-white bone, finessing them into a filigree pattern vaguely reminiscent of a long-tailed bird, something like a peacock or bird of paradise. He's fairly engrossed in his work, not looking up very often, but he's gently, fluidly rocking in time to the tune he's humming under his breath, something dark and haunting but beautiful at the same time.
Come see how far he's gotten?

Maybe it's slightly more surprising that the tiger makes the effort to flick the melting, icy water off the tip of her tail at the fae as she passes. Someone has to keep the not!human community on their toes.
It's entirely possible she's a bit spun up after hounding demon bunnies all afternoon.

His mouth isn't, though. "Determined to distract me, aren't ye?"

The possibly theoretical children, but still. There could be some, and they would obviously be terrified of the fae. And definitely not of the tiger.
Nope.

He makes no comment on her being a tiger. His children wouldn't mind her. He can't speak for the others.

Being intense, with a knife. She retorts, brightly. Even Ded Moroz would have a difficult time overcoming that handicap.

"Is it a gift for Solstice?" Rae needs to be thinking about what to get her mom and Charlie.
