Urquhart is by the fireplace, with the dog, drinking hot spiced cider from a large mug.
He's got a fat blue book to read, and occasionally snorts at it, in surprise or derision.

"No, you didn't," he says. "There were some ornaments -- something with a sleigh and presents?"

He sips the cider and relaxes more into his seat.

"It sounds like an amusing holiday, with pastry and sausages," Urquhart says. "Holidays and food belong together in other places, too."

Moist has a number of ideas but hasn't decided which one to use yet.

He strokes Urquhart's thigh as that's what's closest.

He tastes of the mulled cider, and of the cold places he's come in from.
