The other day (it totally happened!), Claudia asked the Bar if she could get physical product made from pictures she had on her phone. Just because she's not at the Warehouse right now doesn't mean she sees no need to go forward with her present idea, especially since she'd taken the photos she needed before shit went down.
Today, she's picked up the results and pulled two out of the stack. One is hers; the other she'll give to Joshua in person, whenever she gets out of here.
The rest she sorts into a few stacks and gives back to Bar, along with something else.
Ellen doesn't have a shirt; she just has an MP3 player, a pair of headphones, a charging dock and a note:
I said the other day I was going for cross-cultural exchange; after that day you were trying to dissect "We Didn't Start the Fire," I decided I'd try to fill in some of the gaps in your world's musical knowledge vs. what a lot of people here know. I tried to get a decent range, but I don't know the '50s stuff as well as I might. If I'm still here and you want help trying to get this to interface with your stuff, let me know and I'll try to figure something out; otherwise, the charging dock will keep it juiced up here (and play it without the headphones, if you want).
The MP3 player itself is jam-packed with a wide range of rock and roll staples. There's a little Elvis and Buddy Holly and their contemporaries, and much wider representation of groups starting with the Beatles, going all the way up to Nirvana. (There's even a little disco, even though it's not really Claudia's cup of tea.)
Sameth, Rory and Hoffman all have t-shirts waiting for them, of tags of Artifacts they had meaningful encounters with when they crashed the Warehouse last year. Sam's has an additional note:
Hey, so the car's done, but... things are complicated at home and I'm kinda stuck here at the moment. I may have to do a rain check on that drive, but we'll figure something out. Thanks for all your help with it.
Artie's got the biggest individual package, with three shirts and a note:
...I'm sorry. I don't know what to say here, really, but... I'm sorry. Whatever else may be going on, I can assure you that this was entirely my own idea so there's no bad juju or anything with them. Pass 'em along? I had no idea what to get for Leena. If I come up with something I'll leave it for you (and if it's food, DO NOT EAT IT, GIVE IT TO HER).
The shirts are also Artifact tags - Pete's is the Spine of the Saracen, Myka's is Lewis Carroll's mirror, and Artie's is the Honjo Masumune. She was going for 'the Artifact that nearly killed you,' or at least the most prominent one at the moment.
After that, she goes up to the room she's been using and comes back down wearing her new shirt (Volta's lab coat) and carrying her top-bound notebook. She settles in her Cubefall chair and starts writing - it's time to come up with a new project, or see if she thinks up anything else for that one from after bartending.
