Things have gotten busier since they let Natalie back out into the field. Insurgency missions are far behind her; for the last two weeks, she's been working to disrupt a Covenant mining operation. They're making headway, but the Covenant have been settled in for a long time and they're not going to be dug out overnight.
Natalie expects her barrack when she opens the door; she hesitates slightly on the threshold, her boots crusted with snow and bright purple blood. It's the first time she's been in the bar in full armor; she moves easily enough in it that the casual observer might not realize just how much it weighs. She makes her way over to the bar, where she pops the seals on her helmet and sets it down.
"Bar, could I...can I just get some water? With ice?"
[ooc: Mun is having notif issues, so accidental lag may result.]

"Eh, I've still got plenty of work to do."
Doesn't sound like she minds.

Beat.
"Or was it, 'light work makes Devil's play?" He pulls a face. "One of the two. Or both!" For a moment, Jake is entirely distracted, off somewhere in his head chasing down half-remembered quotes.

"Either works. Don't think I've heard that second one before, though."

He rubs the back of his head, and then shrugs it off.
