Demeter enters the Bar and stops as she feels ends and looks around expecting to see her siblings fighting. When there's no one there, she frowns and walks forward as the changes in Bar recognize her and what she brings.
Outside Winter brings its full force as the loss of light means there will be deep cold as the ground freezes hard as ice and storm clouds move across the sky.
She pulls her cloak tight around her as she moves carefully towards the counter, Hades should be here or the Fates.

"Did you have to go and make it worse out there, Auntie?"
He's joking, or at least trying to. But his heart's not quite in it.

She didn't do anything on purpose, for once.

He's worried, and it likely shows. He likes Milliways. It doesn't deserve this much doom and gloom, nor do the people who can't leave.

Hades should be here, this is what he does.

At least not yet nor the Fates but it feels like they might arrive. After all there are tarot cards behind the Bar.

"Sometimes things do go right the first time. But this definitely isn't one of 'em. The more I'm here, the more sure I am that there will be a part where it gets better, but... not yet."
Occupational hazard of trying to be a god of prophecy in a place as mutable as Milliways. It's hard to be absolutely certain.

As Milliways she can do something about without having to worry about her family.

Disconcerting enough that he kneels and touches his hand to the now frozen Earth and wonders who is so angry. Here and back home there are so many options.

"Excuse me ma'am," he calls out respectfully in English, his accent Californian. "Do you know what is happening?"

Her accent is European with a hint of French and Greek coming through.

"Ceres? Aunt?"
no subject
"It's usually Demeter but I have been called Ceres in many times and places."
