You pick a fine time to be back in the Bar, Spider Nancy. After a long day of lounging, drinking, and all general godness like that there...the man who would be Anansi's son decided that it was time to get away from it all and have a drink. This may sound utterly redundant, but look who you're talking to. So saying, he stepped over to the Bar, orders a martiini to start with, and finds himself looking at a shoe. Funnily enough, it matches the pair he's wearing.

"Not what I was looking for, actually. Seems like there's a problem today."

Come to think of it, there had been some feeling on the way in that things were...somehow wrong today. Wait a minute! He's a god! He can fix this! Spider immediately god-voices that the orders he speaks will become reality, thinking that this will render repairs to the Bar in question.

*FWUMPH!*

That wasn't an encouraging sound... Perhaps this was a bad idea, Spider. maybe you should just put it ba-

"Dry martini, please."

A dry martini appears before him, and both the smell and the taste of it conforms to his desired wish.

"Perfect. How does that phrase go? I feel like a million bucks."

A rain of 10 and 20 dollar bills floats down from above. Spider looks up, shrugs, and pays no attention to the fact that he may have made every thing that anybody makes reference to - even unintentionally - entirely possible. In short: Guard your words carefully now...

"Have to say that seems a bit like throwing gasoline onto a fire," muses a retired god of war as he sips his Jack Daniels.

Somewhere, off to the left, a table catches fire with an audible FWOOSH sound. Spider looks over at this, shrugs, and takes notice of Mars.

"Any particular reason why?"

Mars spins at the sudden fire and turns back with his eyes narrowed. "With all the trouble already here, I think a little less is more prudent."

He doesn't think anything could go wrong with what he's said but he pays extra attention to his surroundings just in case.

"Everything seems alright. My martini is properly dry and in good taste."

Also, another one has appeared in his hands while not actually bidden. Spider looks at this, but then just drinks it.

This fellow is beginning to remind Mars of Mercury.

"A martini in the hand is better than one in the bush, eh?" he quipes. He's also quick to not drop the one that just appeared in his hand nor start at the one that appears in the newly made bush at their feet.
