[Out of Milliways: And Back Again. Maybe things would be better once Ellen got back to Megaton and her house there.]
... or maybe she and Dogmeat would wind up at Milliways instead. "Oh," she says, and rubs at her face with both hands. "Well, whatever."
There's no sense in arguing, and at least she won't have to cook her own dinner. She'll just go to the Bar and ask for Cram for herself and mirelurk for Dogmeat.
(What she'll get is a pair of push-up pops made entirely of macaroni and cheese in chili sauce with beef. She'll still eat it, you understand. Dogmeat probably won't, but.)
