There is a diminutive Bright Shiner stalking about the bar, today. His worry for his home manifests in restlessness, sending him padding about the bar room as gingerly as a long-tailed cat through the room were full of rocking-chairs. He would deny that he is sulking, though it is rather obvious.
He's long familiar with what it feels like to dislike the hand that has been dealt to him. But having long experience with such a situation doesn't make one any more comfortable with it.
So if you find him brushing by your ankles, please spare a scritch or two for the much-maligned not'cat.

Talking cat. Well, sure, why not?
Actually, talking cats are something he'd actually like to have back home. A lot more than evil law firms and mucus-throwing demons.
"Right here?" he asks obligingly. Skritch, skritch.
He glances up. "Bar, could you--. Oh, ok, thanks."
Obviously Bar knows the drill already. Somehow Angel isn't surprised. He carefully sets the milk and tuna down beside the cat without breaking a beat on the skritching.
Vampiric gracefulness, don't you know.

Now let's see if the cat can both eat the fish and keep from having to disengage from the scritches.
It... may be difficult. Possibly downright ungraceful. Yrael cares little.
"'nks," he eventually remembers to mumble through a mouthful of the delicious fish.

This is almost as fun as punching Lindsey McDonald in the face. Almost.

He may be teasing him with the flower chain-crowns he's making, bunches of them sitting on his lap. His cousins are numerous, thus so must be his supply of decoration.

Don't mind him if he avoids the flower-chains.

"Hello there."

So he says.

"Very cute form, I must say."

He does feel bad about their last conversation, but he also knows that Yrael's spoken with his siblings on the matters of the bar's fate.
If the not-cat wants, he's open to talk.

"Still plotting your fun, Fool? Still being taken along for the ride, Alexander?"

The Fool just smiles at him, though. "Think of it as a... remodel."

But it was he that struggled to get Nick out of range in time, and who ultimately saved the world from the Destroyer when he had everything to lose by not doing anything. The world and the Life he had learned to love, even against his own will.
Now, they ask him to nothing when he has his home, his friends, his everything to lose, once again. And he cannot.
"I do not listen to fools."

He may know what's going on - the comfort of scritches and warmth are greatly appreciated - but he would like to know more. He doesn't know if he should help or simply try and be patient, trusting that things will work out for the best.
