Nathan was at the bar, idly drinking a beer, ignoring the bustle around him. He had done a bit of helping around the place, cleaning up, and he had been working a lot at home, as well, until recently. he'd brought in the beer, somehow. He wasn't sure exactly, but it had come with him.
A little distraction, and a little beer, felt good. Seeing as how he should be dead, had even maybe died, he wasn't exactly sure why he was in Milliways. Either way, he was glad to see the place. It had been entirely too long.
A beer, a cooler full close at hand, and a Cable, sit at the bar.

She blinked a little as years old memories returned, and for a moment she wanted to facepalm at herself. "Why is my life so damn weird?" She sighed and headed for the bar. Cable was there, which wasn't a surprise. Oh well. She did kind of owe him a drink for saving her life. "This seat taken?"

"Drink?"

She took the beer, nodding. "Thanks. So, what's the last thing you remember?"

"Big bada-boom. Techno-organic explosion."

He eyed her.

That was an almost disturbing thought. Nathan couldn't die. It wasn't how the world worked. "Your kid's doing okay, by the way."

He chuckled.
"It'll be okay." he smirked at her. "I am glad to see you, though."

She took a long drink, letting all her emotions settle out. This place was weird as hell. "I don't know how I feel about seeing you here. It's weird." If he was here due to deadness, she didn't like that at all.

Cable was proud of Hope. He knew she would face her own issues, and more, but she would rise again.
He eyed Domino. "Oh? Why so?" He poked her.

His question made her think for a minute. She'd made the decision to be more honest while she was here. It was a safe and pointless decision, since they never remembered when they got home. Hell, Cable could be dead, she might not get another chance to talk to him.
"For one thing, you might be dead permanently, which would suck. The last time we talked about something other than blowing up Sentinels was before Providence blew up, and since then, honestly, you've been acting like it never happened. Add in the relationship we had here a lifetime ago, and it kind of makes things awkward."

"True. I would rather not be dead." He smiled at her, softly, and nodded again. "Do you want to talk about it?" He paused.
"About us?"

She sighed. "But we can talk about what we want for in here, if we wind up staying for a while."

He opened his and sipped it. "Now... settle in, you."

"I care about you a lot. In both places. The other me is dedicated to a list of missions, which is finite. But here, there are not boundaries. I can act as i wish."
