[Pre-Milliways: "Gajari wishes to see you," were not the words Leo wanted to hear.]

The young man who walks into the bar was rather expecting somewhere where he could wash the blood off his face, not a bar.

Said blood is dried in streaks down from his eyes, across his cheeks and overlapping his mouth, although the eyes the blood must have come from are completely intact and even healthy.

Leo, for his part, looks more bewildered than anything. These are meant to be his new quarters. He wasn't sure what he was expecting for the Tribune's quarters, but it wasn't a large bar-cafe, that was for sure.

"The wash-rooms are over there," Teja says, when he sees that blood-covered man enter.

"... That will come in handy," Leo admits, "I'd, er, like to figure out why my new quarters are a bar, first."

"Because you aren't in your quarters, but in a bar," Teja says.

"Okay."

Beat.

"Did I make a wrong turn somewhere?"

[ostro_goth]

"No," Teja says. "This place decided to snatch you up."

If he continues to stand all bewildered-like in the doorway, he's going to get in someone's way.

"Hey." Deadshot is behind him, now all up in his personal space, lighting a cigarette "You want to move?"

Okay. So. Leo is, he has to admit, altogether too polite and deferential. It's not unreasonable to be asked to move.

Except in the last hour alone, he's had an ancient god skewer him through the eyes, interrogate him on his brother, awaken a lot of new memories, and then send him along to his quarters which are, it turns out, a bar.

He's not in the best mood.

"No," Leo says cheerfully, "I'm good here, thanks."

Lawton lifts his face up from the very important work of lighting his cigarette, and blows smoke directly into the back of the neck in front of his face.

"Really?"

Leo grits his teeth a little and turns.

"Yep. Really."

Lawton rolls his eyes as he meets those of the newcomer.

"Suit yourself," he says, and steps forward. Slightly to the side, it's still an aggressive move that'll involve heavy shoulder checking as he pushes past.

Catman wouldn't give him this kind of grief.

"OhGoddessareyouallright?" says a girl - pretty, delicate, plainly-but-well-dressed - nearby says, her own eyes wide as she stares at the blood.

"Um. Yes. I think. Surprisingly," Leo says, "my eyes are pretty much intact anyway. But thanks for asking."

Delia nods, and swallows.

"Do you...do you want to sit down? Or...wash your face?"

"Washing my face would be good! I was actually intending to do that, and then suddenly there was a bar."

Which might be a sign from the universe that he should get very drunk.

"Ohhhhhhhhhhhh. It's Milliways. Apparently it likes pulling people in from places."

Beat.

"The," pause, "restrooms are over there," she says, pointing.

The kitchens are back but Demeter knows the ground needs healing in Milliways.

Her duties at home have kept her longer than she expected as a child was sick but tonight she enters with her arms full of seedlings and she bumps into his back before muttering in Greek.

"Oh, sorry," Leo scoots to one side, flailing an arm, and very nearly crashes into a waitrat.

"Are you quite well, dear?" The rat squeaks and starts lecturing Leo.

"Surprisingly, yes," Leo says, murmuring a quick, if bewildered, apology to the rat, "but, er. A little out of sorts."

"Perhaps I can help. Let me just put these down,"

The seedlings are set on a table before she gently takes his arm.

Guppy glances up from the bar and sees the man covered in blood.

"You okay there?"

"Yes," Leo sounds a little surprised by that, still.

[guppy_sandhu]

Guppy gets up and comes over.

"I'm Guppy, I'm a doctor. You look like you've sustained a head injury."

[the_less_perfect]

"Eye injury. But it's healed now."

[guppy_sandhu]

"Your eyes are in your head." Guppy points out.
