Domino is sitting at the bar again, even though there's no bartender. She's not drinking, instead she's reading a book she'd kept tucked in her belt during the previous day's meeting. She knows she could ask for any number of amusements from the Bar, but she's not in the mood. A nice, relaxing book is all she needs.
She looks quite pleased about something, but it's impossible to say what or why.

A small black box settled in front of her, possessing a silver ring with a single red stone in it.

She did put her hand over the box, but she didn't open it just yet. "It'll be weird. We remember the other world here. With what's coming, whatever it is, we might wind up being on opposite sides."

"Domino, I've known you for a long time. We've been friends, allies, enemies, lovers, soldiers together, and soldiers on opposite sides of fights too many to number. I've seen the best of you and the worst of you, and you've seen the same of me. We've hurt each other, and we've healed each other, and we've walked an awful lot of paths together. Life with me wont be easy, and I can't promise a happy ending, but I can promise I will always love you, until death, and beyond."
He smiled softly up at her.
"Will you marry me?"

So Domino, who had more names than hairs on her head, and no lineage or honor to speak of, extended her left hand. "I can't promise I'll love you as long as you'll love me. But while we're together, I'll love you as hard and passionately as I can. I don't know what's going to happen, and I don't want to until it does, but I do know that I want you there when it happens, every time it does, even when it's my fault, and even when it's your fault."
She laughed a little. "But we are never having children."

And dipped her, during the kiss. Just because.

Then again, most people did. They just had issues on a grander scale.

He lifted the beer to Domino. "To us, no matter what the damn future may hold."

he set the beer down and kissed her again, before turning to the cake. "Now that looks like good cake."

Nathan lifted his cake and devoured it in two bites. After several enjoyable minutes, he turned to her.

She decides they are complimentary!
"I must have come while you were gone," she says. There is no good place to put the pinwheel, so she keeps it floating.

Here her introduction hits a roadblock. One does not be publicly humiliated, have one's home and stage destroyed, and pick up like absolutely nothing happened.
"-great magician."
You'd have to know her to know that though!

She laughs a little. "What kind of stuff can you do?"
