Ben Grimm - Bullitin board and around, cleaning.

Ben comes in and posts a note on the bulletin board which reads:

Wanted, anyone who can teach psychic self defense.
Interested folks, please leave a note with Bar or look for the guy made of orange rocks.

 

After he puts up the note, he turns to start cleaning up the mess he helped make. Feel free to say hi.

"Hey." Enzo is still working on the clean-up himself. The main room is almost looking back to normal. "You're Val's uncle Ben, right?"

"Yeah," Ben says with a mostly friendly expression. Things are still hard for him but he tries. "Enzo right?"

"That's me."

[ever_lovin]

"Do you happen to know where Val is?" Ben asks trying to keep the anxiety out of his voice but failing.

[a1enzo]

"Relax, she's fine! She's in my world."

[ever_lovin]

"She got out okay and all den?" he asks relieved.

[a1enzo]

"Absolutely. She said she sent a README for you with Tyler."

[ever_lovin]

"Cool. I guess Tyler was a little distracted when we spoke before. No one got hurt?"

[a1enzo]

"A little, but I'm fine now, thanks."

Your niece is perfectly well, Ben.

"That's good. She still in yer world? Or did she make it back here?"

[a1enzo]

"Still in my world. She wanted to get to know cyberspace." He lowers his voice a little: "And I don't think she wanted to come back here right away, after everything."

"I can understand that. Poor kid's already lost one home. Plus I imagine your world has a lotta stuff to checkout fer brainy types."

[a1enzo]

"Yeah, Programmers love to visit. She sounds like she's having fun."

[kamehamehaaa]

Gohan recognises the man as the guy he nearly crashed into the other week.

Rather shyly, he approaches. He's had something on his mind.

"Excuse me sir?"

Ben turns around and is confused until he looks down.

"Sorry," he says by way of apology. Guy looks familiar...

[kamehamehaaa]

"I-I'm sorry for nearly crashing into you." Gohan says. "And... I think I might have broken the world the other day."

"No problem," Ben says to the first (and his narrator apologizes for dropping the thread) but to the second, "Wait...what?"

Gohan looks close to tears.

"Vegeta fired a big ball of ki at me, and I and the ball ended up here, and I didn't manage to deflect it. It went through a mountain. I didn't know who to tell. When I came back here, it looked like there'd been an earthquake and I think it might have been my fault."

Ben looks a little awkwardly at the kid before asking, "Was this right when you buzzed by me at the fire?"

He's pretty sure the kids innocent but he needs facts first.

"I'm not sure. It was after I crashed near you but I don't know what buzzed means."

At some point while Raven is exploring on her own, Charles sees the note and stops. The description is rather odd but not terribly and Charles writes a quick note.

My name is Charles Xavier and I'm quite familiar with psychic shielding as I am constantly using my own. I would be happy to arrange a time to meet with you and see how I can best teach you.

It's signed with his name and he encloses his card as well since that will provide another connection to who he is.
