Marian has been stuck here weeks now. Longer than normal. She can feel it. Has counted it. The Door is keeping her longer than normal. With her father still jailed the otherside. 'Restless' does not begin to cover it.

One Lady, at the archery range,

Firing off arrows about as fast as she can reach for them.

"Another time, then," Leo says, ducking his head a little. "What's wrong?"

Everything that can be? Her home? Her father? Robin?

"It's been a very long few weeks," She decided.

"That seems to be going around," Leo remarks mildly.

"It does," Marian nodded. "Seem more common than not around here."

One of the reasons so many people saw Milliways as a respite.

"Might I be able to help?"

It seems unlikely, but he can at least offer.

She raised an eyebrow, delicate in movement, very much a Lady, even for all the sharp edges running through her today. No rejecting, but inquiring. "How?"

Wryly: "I think that'd depend on the problem. But I'm handy with magic and a sword; a good enough scientist; and a passable diplomat."

Her brows lifted rather like an Ah, and there was a flicker at the edge of her mouth, that didn't continue on to a smile. But did happen.

Not uncharitably. "Enough to make The Door reappear?"

"Doubtful," Leo admits. "But I can attempt it. I did some work on dimensional rifts a while ago."
