Upstairs, court breaks for recess to strategize and to smear food into the receiving orifice of a certain party.

So, down the stairs come two trolls, smiling and chuckling between themselves as they set up camp at one of the unused booths. Sometime later, there's plenty of food set up between the two of them as they continue to chat.

Feel free to say hello, or just boggle at the strange food, the glowing one only bites a little.

Well, one of the two trolls is chuckling. The other snickers in an almost sinister way as they travel to the booth, a white cane swinging about by her feet though she seems to have no trouble walking.

Terezi practically inhales the food, because it all smells as good as it tastes (indeed, with smelling as the priority).

Kanaya watches bemusedly as food disappears from in front of Terezi, eating her own meal at a more leisurely pace.

"Hungry?"

Terezi just nods as she stuffs entire handfuls of strawberries and cherries into her mouth. Her favorite foods seem to run in the more... red spectrum.

That is, until she nearly chokes while sucking in spaghetti that had been messily mixed up with some curry.

She reaches over to thump her back gently.

"Easy There. Remember To Breathe While You're Shoveling In Food."

"Who needs breathing? There is so much candy-delicious foods to be shoveled down my gullet!"

Once her lungs are cleared of food, she promptly picks up a crab and stacks it on the top of a very rare steak to begin snapping down noisily.

Kanaya looks on with a grimace, wiping away a little bit of shell shrapnel as she takes a piece of fajita.

"You Have Plenty Of Time To Eat As Much As You'd Like."

Terezi considers this. "Maybe," was her answer and then she's eating the crab-steak, shell and all once more.

When properly full (of milkshakes, BBQ Lays, raspberry tarts and numerous other things) she leans back and looks to Kanaya. "So now what?"

Is the blind one going to ease up on how hard she's swinging that cane, because at this rate.

"Ow! Hey!"

"Blind troll coming through!" Terezi supplies belatedly and without apology.

...Tyler is growling, while this may not be an uncommon occurence for a troll, it is not entirely normal.

"You did that delibrately."

Kanaya frowns, poking her friend sharply in the side.

"Terezi," she says, her voice warning. "Apologize to Tyler."

Terezi sees absolutely nothing wrong with being growled at. In fact, she's about to keep going until promptly prodded by Kanaya. There's a pause, and to the fellow troll it'd be abruptly clear that the wording Kanaya had just used had been absolutely wrong.

"Yes. I am absolutely sorry that I'm horribly misfigured and can't at all see where I'm going! Oh let me just fix that for you, human-kid Tyler."

"Just don't swing that so gosh darn hard-" He's rubbing at the offended shin with a foot when he looks up at Terezi.

The whole of the Greenbrier Resort is in an uproar today, and for excellent reason. It is, however, the kind of thing a man can only take so much of. Thus Shephard has taken the opportunity to find the men's room and open the third stall from the left.

"Good, that still works," he mutters, and heads over towards the first person he recognizes who isn't lined up to see Ms. Vance and Dr. Freeman's babies.

And that person comes in troll form, who waves Shephard over cheerfully.

"Hello, Shephard!"

"Hey there, Kanaya," says Shephard as he migrates over to the table. "How's it goin'? And who's this, here?"

He smiles in the other troll's general direction, the no-teeth smile he uses when he's meeting an unfamiliar dog. It usually goes over fairly well regardless of target.

Terezi's head had snapped up when her friend had called out to someone. He smells rather harmless, and the pair know each other.

"Yes hello, Shepard," Terezi greets with all the false familiarity in the world. "Don't you remember me?"

"Shit no," says Shephard cheerfully; this is not a man with much capacity for being embarrassed, unless possibly the Wizard of Oz is involved. (Best you don't ask.) "I done met three trolls since I been comin' to this place'n you ain't one of 'em. No offense or nothin'. Pretty sure I'd remember."

Terezi isn't disappointed by this. In fact, his inability to fall for mind-tricks only makes her grin broader and her laugh a bit louder. "I'm Neophyte Redglare," she introduces grandly, "it is proper to be awed!"

After Kanaya is diverted Rose-wards, perhaps?

"OH LOOK, IT'S YOU."

It is decidedly weird seeing her again after all this time. But not so scary now that the imbalance in their time differential has been even slightly corrected.

"Karkat!" Terezi chirps, not seeming to sense this 'weirdness' at all. "What do you want?"

It occurred to her, a second later, he might not want anything. She was too used to the playing the game, to thinking of Karkat as their fearless leader. Oh well. Already said and done.

The thing about Karkat is, if he didn't have an agenda when he started, he probably can think of something. "I HAVE BEEN THINKING, I NEED YOUR HELP. OR AT LEAST ACCESS TO YOUR COMPUTER, I WANT TO DOWNLOAD THE FLARP CLIENT AND SERVER APPLICATIONS."

And Terezi, though she does not always start out being a pain in the ass, is quick to become one. "What was that Karkat? Oh yes, I'm doing much better now. Thanks for asking! Why would I give you my computer after you ran away and hid from me for two days? What if I'm still mad at you?"

With that fucking grin on her face, it was always impossible to tell with her.

"WOW, THERE IS A WHOLE RANT THAT GOES HERE BUT IT JUST GOT SHUNTED INTO THE ALTERNATE TIMELINE WHERE I GIVE A FUCK. YOU ARE DOWN HERE SO OBVIOUSLY YOU ARE READY TO UNDERTAKE PROJECTS OTHER THAN SITTING AROUND HAVING FEELINGS, THIS IS ONE SUCH PROJECT, IF YOU ARE ACTUALLY MAD AT ME THEN JUST FLIP ME OFF AND GO ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS LIKE A NORMAL PERSON."

Terezi gives a laugh at that. "Alright. Your sweet, kind words have won me over, Karkat." She cackles, pulling a husktop from her sylladex and handing it over. "What's this for anyway?"
