"It's Cubefall??"
Cue one more delighted Milliwayser, bounding down the stairs like Christmas morning.
Ava's just taken her habitual post-Arashmaharr shower (the assorted infernal smells, she's noted, really get under your fingernails), and she meant to spend tonight hanging around strategically, waiting for Zevran and/or Sameth and/or Sam Winchester and/or pyramid people.
However, the evening's plans clearly need modification.
Twenty minutes later, she has dismantled a chair and a couch and is midway through construction of her now-traditional Cubefall Lego fort. A mostly-neglected salad and Coke sit off to one side.
(As usual, she hasn't even looked at sample configurations.
She's too much of a control freak to give up her body voluntarily.)
Maybe if Andrew happens by, they can have a painfully symbolic conversation about change and new beginnings.
ooc: THERE AIN'T NO PARTY LIKE A CUBEFALL PARTY. Get in on this fort-building action! Open until my brain gives up.
eta: sleepyface merc loves you all! is it can be slowtimes?

"And that they won't stop at anything short of real brick." Yes, he's being a pain today.

For some reason that reminds her of Sam, fighting Lilith back on their Earth.
"Okay," she allows, amused.
"But what if the wolves all come to my house, because they're like, 'what a pushover, it's made of Legos,' and then I take them by surprise?"

"Did you bring the silver bullets?" He picks up a few Lego blocks and begins to assemble them tentatively. (He never had Lego as a kid.)

Duh!
She assesses the two walls she has up. One of these should probably have a window. How'd she do that last year?
"But actually, my go-to plan is pretty simple."

"... Eh. Why not."
She can't tell whether Charlie underestimates her or not, curiously enough.
"Got any ideas for putting a window in the next wall?"
no subject
"So not interested in a Cubefall face?"

A glance to Charlie.
"I dunno, I just thought I was pretty cute as it is."
:DDD??

"I liked it before, but somehow I figured that coming back from the dead was enough for one year. Also, I didn't get any good choices."
He gets to work as best he can on bricklayer.

"I haven't even seen mine this year. What were yours?"

"That last one is vaguely interesting, but best stayed away from if I don't want to address deeper questions of my sexuality." Some questions even Charlie is shy about.
"Not a fan of the idea. That's fair."

She pries the chair leg apart into four disparate pieces, two of which she lets fall-- clack, clack! onto a small pile of spare parts.
Maybe they can be frame corners? No, she has better corner pieces somewhere around here.

Charlie concentrates on the basic parts of the wall. "Any color scheme in mind?"
no subject
"I just want it to be, you know. Reasonably sturdy."

"Were you not?"
Unsurprisingly, Ava was really into the little castles.

"That sucks," she says lightly, lips quirking down.
"Were the alphabet blocks actually shaped like letters ...? Or were they square and they had the letters on them."
