It's been a long day, hell... a long week... a long life for Burton Guster. When he comes through the door, he's even more reserved than usual. Contemplative, even quiet.

"Cheeseburger and a large glass of milk, please?" He asks, sitting at the bar a long moment before noticing the terminal - already oblivious to the scattered Lego thanks to not-too-long-ago experiment in lightsaber building. If he'd have listened to Gus' suggestion phasers would have totally worked better. "What's this?"

He squints at the terminal and pushes a button, reading through the information until the choices come up.

A black leopard? Pretty sweet, powerful, graceful, sexy...

And if he was gonna be a robot, well... that would be pretty cool. He can think of a couple people he'd like to exterminate.

Being a female version of himself? It's confusing enough to try and meet women... he's not about to try being one.

About to give up, he hits the last choice... and, well... even Gus is not immune to the opportunity to be absolutely adorable.

He pushes the button and then picks up his burger and takes a bite. These things take time, right?

Until as the warm taste of a perfect meat and dripping cheese crosses an unfamiliar... muzzle? Gus looks side to side and then down where sure enough he's now standing on the stool with soft black paws holding him up on the bar with his nose buried in cheeseburger.

There are worse ways to spend the day.

Puppy!Gus nips her sleeve and gives it a rough tug.

Caramel isn't chocolate.

"Chocolate-dipped caramel!"

Mmmm... belly rub is trumping caramel. There's something horribly wrong and yet oh so right about that.

"Allllll mine...and maybe some for you when you're human." Because tummy surgery would be terrible for a little puppy.

Gus nips at her sleeve again and lets out a slightly more menacing puppy wuff.

MINE JULIET. ALL MINE.

She pats the tip of his nose. "Uh-uh. I'm not cleaning doggie throw-up out of my shoes." It was bad enough when it was Shawn, as a human, at the station's Christmas party.

He wuffs again and then licks her fingers.

Fine...

"Good boy," she replies. His jowls get a gentle scritching. "I'm gonna have to find Shawn soon. You boys are too small to run around here without a chaperoned."

The puppy pouts and wuffs again.

He happens to like running around. He's not that little.

He's tiny enough not to be able to climb. "I saw you trying to climb up the side of the bar," she points out.

If a puppy could reasonably frown, he would be - even as he paws at her.

Not his fault the bar is so high.

"That's the point," she declares. "I need to get you both somewhere safe."

His stubby tail makes another circular wave and he nuzzles against her again, curling up against her.

She smiles at his enthusiasm. That hasn't changed, at least. resting her palm on his belly, Juliet starts gently massaging. He needs a little nap before she takes him home and rounds up Shawn.

Oh now that hits the spot in every possible way...

The puppy grunts happily and rolls onto his back in her lap, feet kicking as his tail tries to wag against her leg.

Juliet cracks a smile at his enthusiasm. "You're so cute." (She thinks he's cute in his human form, too, but a avoids saying so, for that would make things Weird with Shawn).

If she were rubbing his human belly, he'd be just as enthusiastic. As Shawn would know. But it probably be kind of weird.

The puppy lets out a pleased 'wuff' followed with another grunt, the pink tip of his tongue peeking out of his mouth.

She knows he would: she's seen creeper Gus in action more than once, after all. But in this form? He's cute as all heck, and she's gonna keep tummy rubbing 'til he snoozes the snooze of puppy satisfaction.

Which won't take long if she keeps going at it like that.

Wiggling until he finds the most comfortable spot between her thighs, the puppy digs himself in and kicks his feet playfully as she continues to rub.

That big, tongue-curling yawn? So didn't happen. Must be seeing things.
