Okay, Enzo has gotten a great deal of building in and has played with his niece until she's had her fill.

"I'm gonna reboot now, Mairi," he tells her, leading her out back. "You can play with me for a little while after I do, but then you'll have to go home, okay? I'll be staying here until it wears off." He'll find someone to take her to the Door when it's time.

"Reboot! Reboot!" Mairi chants.

Enzo's list is all Es this year: an echidna, an Electric Monk (whatever that is), an elephant seal, an elephant shrew...

Okay, those latter two are pretty funny, but he's gonna go with the real thing.


There is now a rather mossy (or is he?) young African elephant on the grounds, with a sprite toddler laughing uproariously from her perch on his back.

"Effunt!" Coral shouts, running towards Enzo.

"Hey hey, check if it's a safe elephant." Guppy says, catching her hand.

"I hate change" Fry grumbles from the back, putting some blue lego bricks into a block.

"It's safe," the elephant replies merrily.

Mairi waves from its back. "Hi, Fry! Hi, Coral! Unca Enzo's a lellaphunt!"

"He's an African Elephant." Fry says, looking slightly more interested.

[a1enzo]

"Am I?" Curious elephant is curious! "Are there other kinds, too?"

[guppy_sandhu]

"Yes." Fry says. "There's Asian elephants with littler tusks, Borneo Pygmy elephants with littler everything, and Nellietheelephants that say goodbye to the circus."

[a1enzo]

"Nellietheelephants?" That doesn't sound like a species, per se...

[guppy_sandhu]

Fry and Coral start to sing in unison (well, Fry sings, and Coral pitches in with elephant noises from time to time). And unlike the youtube clip, did it at the right speed.

'To Bombay, a travelling circus came,
They brought an intelligent elephant and Nellie was her name.
One dark night, she slipped her iron chain,
And off she ran to Hindustan and was never seen again.

Nellie the elephant packed her trunk and said goodbye to the circus

"Mruuuh!"

"'Nellie the elephant packed her trunk and trundled back to the jungle,

Mairi flies down so she can hear better. She claps along, and soon both she and Enzo join in on the elephant noises as well. Enzo, for obvious reasons, does them particularly well.

"Me up!" Coral says, running up to Enzo.

"I'm not sure sweetie, Mairi can fly, you might fall off." Guppy says.

While he's there, he might notice a tree that wasn't around before. It's also distinctive by its pink leaves.

And, if we're being complete, by the fact that it softly says "Oooh," and spreads its leaves and branches out as far as it can to get as good a look as possible at Enzo. You don't see elephants very often in Ponyville, and even if this one's from another world oh, Fluttershy, you have no idea it could be a valuable learning opportunity.

Trees in general look tastier to Enzo than usual right now, but he does have some self-control, particularly when one appears to be actively moving.

"Uh, hello?"

"Pretty tree!" says Mairi.

[needs_fern]

"Oh, um, hello," says the tree. It sounds quite a lot like Fluttershy. "And... thank you."

The flashback is probably entirely coincidental, right?

Well, there is a certain family resemblance.

"Fluttershy?" says the elephant. "Is that you?"

[needs_fern]

"Um, yes," says the tree slowly. "Who are you?"

[a1enzo]

"I'm Enzo. The green one?"

[needs_fern]

"Oh." With absolutely no trace of irony, she says, "You look, um... different."

[a1enzo]

"Yeah? Well, you're a tree."

"What's she?" asks the little turquoise girl.

"She's another pony."

"Oooooh!"

A rolling elephant gathers no moss. No wait, that's not how it goes.

"Nice color."

[a1enzo]

A little turquoise head peeks over the elephant's side. "Thank you!" it calls.

Why, yes, the world does revolve around Mairi, why do you ask?

Artemis' smile quirks at that. Cute.

"What's your name squirt?"

[a1enzo]

"Mairi!"

"She's my niece," says the elephant. Yep, that's Enzo's voice.

Roll with the weird, Artemis.

"Happy Cubefall then, I guess."

[a1enzo]

"Happy Cue-fall!"

"You not gonna reconfigure?"

"Nothing that caught my eye."

[a1enzo]

"I had some pretty weird ones, but this is fun."

"Unca Enzo's super big!"
