Enter Arithon, from the House of Arch. He has shadows wrapped around his face. It keeps the light out of hungover eyes. Most of the light. Sorcerers can see in the dark. He makes his way to a booth, and shrouds it in shadow as well. Ow.

"I'm guessing too much to drink last night, Arithon?" Yes.... bright and cheerful.
Don't you just want to shoot her?no subject

Without insult, even. He smiles back, equally faintly, and finally flags a Tashka to take his order. Two dinners and a hot cider.
no subject
"Whatever drinks you got for that game got me drunk as well, you know."
no subject
Dryly, and then he hums Jack's favorite song at her.

"I had almost forgotten something I came down here to do last night, so I sobered myself up after I got to my room last night.... or at least that's what I'm guessing what happened. Something like that."
no subject
He smiles a bit at her, and pushes one of the plates of food over in her direction.
no subject
"Though the little I remember, it was fun."
no subject
How long has it been since he got to sit with another sailor and play games? Since he played games at all, really. Last night....was much needed.

"And speaking of, were you the one that did the snow and ice sculptures outside?"
no subject
"I did. Hotaru asked me to show her."

He gives a wry smile.

"Yes. Ri'athan means 'one who touches divinity'. They were the best of the Paravian peoples."
no subject
"I've never seen one, but if they are anything close to what you created out there, they would be divine."
no subject
MOrosely, looking at his hands. Arithon has a complex when it comes to such things.
"I've only seen their ghosts, but....they were."

He hates it. He doesn't want to be a king. He can't handle the responsibility.
no subject
"But you don't want to, do you, Arithon?"
no subject
Flatly. It says 'Conversation ends here'. He looks up at her with bleak green eyes, then directs them firmly to his plate.
no subject
"Well, the sculptures were still beautiful. If it doesn't tax you to do the magic to make them, maybe you could make more?"
no subject
He is grateful. Really.
no subject
"Hm. If they could be lit up... Most magical lights don't give off heat unless they're willed to."
no subject
He says with a laugh.
no subject
"Though if you made some that could be lit up, both Yrael and I could do that, with the magics we both know."
no subject
He shakes his head at her, and laughs.
no subject
"We'll also have to do another music and dancing night."
no subject
He should never, ever have let on that he could dance. He'll get used to it, though, because his player re-read that section and realized that she'd read it wrong. So we'll say he's just been posing as a dance-hater and will give up the pose when he realizes Svava is going to make him be social will he or nil he.
no subject
"And we will have to get more people next time, if we can...Hm."
