[oom: Holby explodes into riot again, because, well, it's July. Guppy rescues an entirely indifferent Fry from the chaos. Warnings for mentions of riot.]
The evening newspaper does not make good reading.
Guppy distinctly remember there being a riot before in the city (was it around this time last year, or the year before?) but apparently, it's still in vogue. Fortunately, Fry doesn't seem to have been remotely bothered by the fact that the city went insane around him, except for the irritation that he won't be able to go to playscheme tomorrow. Coral, safely in nursery, was entirely unaware of the whole thing.
Now that he's got some time to himself, the post-riot terror has sunk in, and he's staring in horror at a picture of some of his former colleagues in an ambulance surrounded by rioters.
