The days have been long for Will as the Sheriff's men keep finding small places to attack and it feels like once one fight is over there's another. He's glad that at least doors are showing up more often as he needs space to not fight.

Today when he finds a door, he walks straight outside, strips down to just his hose and jumps in the lake. After swimming for about half an hour, he lays down on his cloak, which is spread out on the grass and closes his eyes.

The water helped with some of his newer bruises and his old scars are visible, but he doesn't care. Later he'll go inside and get a drink, proper food and enjoy some hot water, for now, he's just going to not do anything.

Teja is by the lake, fetching water with his buckets, for his forge-work.

He seems as always, but there is a small but insidious amount of glitter hiding upon his person, that will shimmer at odd moments when struck by the sunlight.

He nods at Will, where he is in the lake, from the bank.

Will looks up when Teja goes by and waves to him.

"Greetings, Will Scarlett," Teja calls out, crouching as he draws water. "How do you fare?"

"Well 'nough, days in Sherwood are long."

"It is summer," Teja says, "life is generous, and none need freeze."

"Aye, but tis also time to travel an more fights cause the days are long,"

Sherwood is kind and green, but blood's never far away.

"But more takings, also, as merchants and tax-men move about their business, not hindered by the snow," Teja says.

Will shifts on his cloak feeling his newest injuries,

"Aye, but tis 'unters. Winter's a time o'quiet in Sherwood as its too cold to fight."

"Have you fought much lately?" Teja asks, noticing Will's movement.

Atton, perched on a rock by the lake, peers at Will while he passes.

"Tough week?" Atton doesn't need the Force to pick up on that one, it's painfully obvious.

"Aye, couple o''em but the water's nice," And there's sun and later will be drink.

"Bracing, I hear," Atton remarks, dipping a boot in the water. "Sheriff giving you trouble? You know, you could just kill him. Maybe demolish the castle. Kill the prince and demolish his castle. Kill all of his soldiers."

Atton solves problems with sublety and grace.

"Isna that cold just right. Aye, keeps sendin' small attacks, so we've na time to rest as we're on the move,"

Will splashes some water at him, none of those plans make any sense as they don't want to conquer England or Nottingham just do what they can.

"Large explosives. S'always the way. The Sith used to sometimes send me on political destabilisations, those were way more fun than actual hunts. It's basically free reign to cause chaos."

Beat. Somberly: "I mean, those missions were also pure horrible evil, but my morals were absent at the time, so they were just awesome."

"Aye, well ye're na to do that in Nottingham, would only make things worse. What 'ave ye been 'xplodin' lately?"

"Not much. You know, sooner or later, you're going to need a way of dealing with the problem permanently. The Sheriff has the resources to keep escalating this, and you don't have the resources to match whatever he throws at you."
