Steve Rogers enters the bar with new issues of the Captain America comics, along with his usual sketchbook. He hasn't read them yet, and he only reads them because kids who come to the USO show will ask about them, without fail.
Steve sits at the bar, braces himself for what's inside, and opens the first book.
...Bucky is not going to be happy when he finds out he was recast as the plucky sidekick.

Luna's uniform is fairly bedraggled this evening--the result of four hours scrubbing out cauldrons by hand.
Her bandaged hands and forearms are also a result of this evening's detention. Her sleeves are rolled up, and from the elbows down, Luna looks rather like a mummy.
But right now she looks more interested in whatever's caused the look that's currently on Steve's face.
"You don't look happy. Is the book not good?"
no subject
"Oh, my God--Luna! What happened?" He closes the comic and puts it away in his satchel. "Are you okay?"
no subject
Okay. A lot of boils.
"I got a detention at school today," she adds, as if that explains it all.
"Was that a Muggle comic book you were reading?"
no subject
"Um, yeah," he says about the comic book. "It's about me--about Captain America."
More importantly, "Can't you talk to someone at your school about this? This can't be right."
no subject
But that's really just her impression.
"I could," Luna says. "But I don't think it would do more than make the other teachers--the good ones--feel bad. It's Professor Umbridge, you see. She has Ministry backing, and the other teachers really can't do anything about her."
Even Professor Dumbledore has been keeping his distance, though Luna has no doubt that he is watching.
At the comment about the comic book, though, Luna brightens.
"There's a book about you? How lovely!"

"Is that research, or just a hobby?"
It might take a few moments for her power to read the fire in men's heart to kick in.
Them's the breaks.
no subject
...fire in men's hearts?
Steve is Pure Pureness. If that helps any.

Here we go.
" -- touched? I'm sorry, you look -- Steve, wasn't it?"
Athena's gift -- and Hestia's -- work well together.
Eventually.

"Diana, isn't it?
"Yeah, it's Steve. I, um, joined the Army."

Her smile widens, though she still looks a little like she's catching up with the times.
"It seems to have served you well," she says warmly, though there's a faint hint of caution in her eyes. "Provided you're pleased with the changes."

He hasn't taken this to heart.
So he's reading over Steve's shoulder when he says, "Gods, is that you in tights?"
no subject
"Yes," he groans, "I'm wearing tights."

Stories are meant to be shared!
"When were you going to tell me about this?"
no subject
He lets Orpheus take the book anyway.

He might be emphasizing the last word just a little bit.
He fully intends to relocate once he gets it. Eventually. after all, he does have to be at the Bar to order from it.
He isn't touching Steve. But he really is standing close.

Hands free, he takes out the small not-quite pencil, he's carrying in his pocket (lead wrapped in wool) and asks Bar for a piece of paper. Looking like a man who needs to note down a few things before he forgets them.

He writes down another data on the paper. His hand-writing is surprisingly need considering the size of his hands. It is also very careful. He learned writing late in life.Or death, as it were.

He takes a brief, discreet look at the comic books, though. They seem rather colourful and crude to him. But Urquhart knows even less than nothing about comic books, as it is.
no subject
It's all so...absurd.
no subject
Yes, nobody possible could move like that.
