Bartending!
Dixie's been hanging out in the oddest of places lately. She's coming off a twelve-night stand in a seaside town in Washington where she danced in a traditional swiss milkmaid outfit, complete with wooden clogs and lace cap - which had earned her a fine sum, but also an excessively large trunk filled with the local pride and joy.
She's thankfully not wearing that outfit now, instead sporting a multi-colored dress with cap sleeves and a lace brocade vest of puce. Dixie smiles, pausing for just a moment in the doorway. There wasn't any harm, she supposed, in adding Milliways to the day's journey. When the napkin tells her it's her turn, she chuckles.
"I suppose I haven't been paying my dues," she smiles. "You know Miss Dixie tries to leave people wanting more - but in this case I'll make an exception." In a moment, over the bar, there's a list of:
** SPECIALS **
The Traveler - $.60
Third Street Promenade - $.80
Salty Dog - $.50
Birch beer or ginger beer ice cream sodas - $.30
Give the bartender a jingle if you like saltwater taffy
She fixes her hair back into a bun. "Come one, come all," she purrs, and rests a hand on her hip as she waits for her first customer. Any lucky volunteers?
[OOC: Tagging, as they say, all night, and open 'til the next tending.]
