Fury is sitting at the bar, drinking a cup of coffee.

He's reading a (paper) copy of Stranger In a Strange Land with a thoughtful frown on his face.

"Rough week," says the unicorn. "But it's getting better."

"How's the eye?"

Since his is the left and hers is the right, they still can look each other in the...eye.

"The eye doctor says it's healing up, but he wants me to wear the patch for the rest of the week just in case."

Then: "So, uh, what'cha reading?"

[the_man]

"It's a science fiction novel by Robert Heinlein. A little out of date now, but it still has some good things to say."

He might be staring a little intently.

"What's it about?"

[the_man]

"It's about a man who was born on Mars coming back to live on Earth. Or, that's the plot, anyway. It's also a metaphor and a criticism of the society and time the author was from."

He sips his coffee.

"I'm guessing you're not from Earth. Or Mars, for that matter."

"If I am, no one in my world calls it that," says the unicorn. "It's just 'the world.'"

[the_man]

"Fair enough. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say we don't share the same planet."

"As far as anypony knows there are no humans in my world, so... yeah."

[the_man]

"Good for you, then. You're probably better off without."

[no_vampires_plz]

"What makes you say that?"

[the_man]

"I'm a cynic," says the spy to the little purple unicorn.

"Aren't... you a human?"

[the_man]

"That depends on who you ask," he says with a grin. "If you ask me, I say yes."

"But you still think the world would be better off without humans."
