Fury is sitting at the bar, drinking a cup of coffee.

He's reading a (paper) copy of Stranger In a Strange Land with a thoughtful frown on his face.

"It happens," he says, serene.

That's a 'yes'.

"My condolences."

[katyafeline]

"I shall redeem him, eventually. It is a work in progress." She is teaching him the glories of Eastern European food (and the glories of non-overprocessed food in general), and he is teaching her how to survive without the Watches.

Somehow, together, they keep each other in balance.

[the_man]

"Then I wish you good luck. Bar, this lady's next cocktail is on me. Make it non-glowing." Fury stands, carefully placing his empty cup on the bar, and sticking the book in his pocket.

[katyafeline]

"Spasiba." Her smile is grateful, if entirely acknowledging that she probably brings the neon drinks upon her own head by arguing with the Bar. "Perhaps you will let me return the favor in the future?"

[the_man]

"Of course." He salutes her, touching his forehead briefly with two fingers. Then he sticks his book in the pocket of his coat and heads for the door.
