For the first time in a very, very, very long time Mike is in the rafters. If you see him at all, it won't be because he's in his usual orange hula attire, but because maybe the slight bit of movement towards the ceiling has caught your attention. Or maybe it's the dropping of dust from the ceiling. Either way, he's dressed in a green so dark it's almost black, and fully clothed in ninja garb.

Guppy is looking a teeny bit tired, as the kids have been up since 4am. Camping trips have the disadvantage of making morning look like it came really early.

Initially he drinks some of the dust that falls in his tea, but then he feels it fall on his nose... he looks up, then sneezes.

"gesundheit," says someone from high above in a voice barely above a whisper.

Guppy jumps. Hiding German Ninja!

He moves around and tries to see who and where the person is, just in case it's one of those bar baddies sneaking up on him.

"stop," the voice cautions. "you're going to draw attention to me."

"Who is it?" Guppy asks, keeping still, in case the German Ninja is armed.

He's already reaching for the stun gun in his inside pocket, just in case. But he wouldn't fire it on someone in the rafters unless he absolutely had to, because it would generate injury and paperwork.

The thing about Carol—well, one of the things about Carol—is she can fly. So when she spots something moving in the rafters, she's flies up to investigate.

"Hey there, ceiling ninja. You're not thinking of starting something are you?" she asks, hovering near Mike's position.

Ceiling Ninja is watching you masturbate taken aback by the surprise arrival of the flying lady.

"shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. she might hear you."

"Who might hear me?" Carol asks.

"And a friend told me there's no fighting, so whoever she is, you better not hurt her."

"me hurt her? you're kidding, right?"

Seems a might bit twitchy for a shadow warrior, doesn't he?

"You still haven't told me you she is."

Or maybe it's because you happened to be in the neighborhood of the rafters anyway and happen to posses excellent low light vision. Stitch peers silently at the green figure with interest for a solid minute, ears fanned forwward, nose working on over time.


"Hiiiiiiieeeeeee." Watcha doin', Mike?

Mike doesn't jump, but oh goodness how his eyes show that he wants to.
Stitch isn't X shaped, and so he didn't ping Mike's defensive turty sense.

"shhhhh. she'll hear you," he warns.

This is very true. X hardly ever wears bras on her head or dish towels around her neck. And usually she has boots on.

Stitch tilts his head to the side, blinking enormous in cunfusion.

"Gaba?"

Mike rolls his eyes.

"x."

Has Mike ever managed to goad a facepalm out of Stitch before? He has now!

It's not a quiet one by any means.

Completely unrelated to another encounter Mike has had, there is also a woman on the ceiling who is wearing that lovely shade of red that turns the perfect shade of whatever shadow she happens to be in. She's just hanging out for no apparent reason.

She's also sticking to the walls without any sign of support.

That...that is a neat trick she's got there.
One so neat it sort of requires someone sit up and pay attention.

The figure doesn't move. Just sits there and watches...well she's more leaning/laying than sitting but you get the idea. He might notice an eye shift towards him as she judges the distance, though; trying to decide if he's close enough to talk to without drawing attention to them.

Oh yeah?! Well he totally sees her not moving, and raises her with some more not moving. Which is really poorly timed, come to think of it. Because he had been in the middle of snacking on a protein bar.

And she totally didn't just smile. It was a ninja move. Actually no, it wasn't. While Jessica has had extensive training, in many fields, she has never had ninja training.

She does decide they are too far apart and so crawls over (walking on the wall as if it were the ground) until she is close enough. "You know, with all the folks who come up here, you'd think they'd dust once in a while." Her voice is nice, with an English accent and pitched just right to only carry about three feet or so. Unless you had super human hearing that is.

Cato easily notices the dust falling down and it doesn't take him long to look upwards. His muscles tense for a moment and ready to move if someone were to attack. He cocks his head when he sees the ninja and then remarks casually,

"You realize I can see you, right?"

Mike does nothing.
Mike says nothing.

Cato just shakes his head and moves to the bar, ordering some tea. He keeps one eye on Mike in the rafters but says nothing as he takes a sip.

Whenever Cato looks away, or diverts his eyes for any length of time, Mike moves ever so slightly to a new position.

He doesn't look away much once he has his tea. Only before then. He takes another sip,

"I may not know how long you've been up there but I'm betting you'll eventually need to eat or drink..."
