When the door opens, Steve is already talking.
"--since about a month before Dr. Erskine recruited me. And it's not like any of the locals at home, so brace yourself. But I really love it and I think you'll love it too."
He stops a few steps inside the Bar, laughs and says, "And, uh, here we are. Bucky, this is Milliways."

"What the hell, Steve?"

Bucky braces himself against the bar and turns to eye Steve instead.
"... you're enjoying this, aren't you."

"Ask for anything. Anything you want."

Both is cool by me!
She smiles at Steve, and waves from her seat on a barstool with one of her gauntlets off--it's pretty dinged up on the outside, and she's trying to fix it. "Hey, Steve."

... right. Okay.
He leans out a little so he can get a better look, and smiles.
"Hey."

"So better, at least a little." She doesn't really want to tell him and his friend about the demonstration that ended in a massacre. Bucky gets a second glance as he leans out from around Steve, and an equal little grin. "Hi."

And since she is about to go off-shift, she slips out of her seat and moves quietly across the floor.
"Hello."
Her face does not hold very much expression.
Part of that is simply the way she was made. (But only part.)

He's adapting to the place a bit by now, enough to at least feel like he's getting his feet under him. It's reflected in his smile.

Her nostrils do flare, though, scenting the air. Neither of them are entirely familiar, but there is something . . .
"I am X."
Beat.
"I am allowed to ask when you are from?"

Over near the fireplace, there's a guy kneeling on the floor with a stone disc in hand. It's the size of a dinner plate, with a square hole in its center; he's trying to coax a bright red, ferrety-looking critter into jumping through said hole.
"Come on, Pabu. You can do it -- "
It might take a second glance to realize "in hand" is more like "levitating the disc about a foot off the ground."

He goes along with the nudge, though.
"Hello, rock-floating guy - Bolin, you said?" he asks Steve. "Hello, fuzzy little fox guy."
The sheer ridiculousness of the place is beginning to get to him, and he grins.
"I'm Bucky."
no subject
"Hey!" he says with a wave. The disc bobs a little higher, to which Pabu -- crouched on his haunches and wiggling in anticipation of the leap -- chitters in dismay. "Nice to meetcha, Bucky. Hey Steve, how's it going?"

Both
He hopes the colonel doesn't.
"Gentleman, this is, er, a surprise."
Re: Both
What's the protocol here? The guy's a civilian, at least technically, and they're off duty, but at the same time...
"-- Mr. Stark."

He doesn't want to interrupt anything, and he doesn't want to ignore Steve either, so he just offers him a smile and a nod from the bar.

Okay then.
Bucky puts on a smile of his own, and nods a hello.
