Since that strange night, Charles has been an owl. He hasn't seen anyone he knows and has been enjoying flying around outside but he wants to get back to himself. This is awkward and his feathers require a lot of work.

Today he is perched on the back of a chair with a newspaper laid out on the table and a small bowl of nuts. He refuses to eat a mouse or bird even if some of them do look tasty.

(OOC: Open all weekend. Charles will be speaking telepathically into your pup's head if he decides to talk to them. If they have mental shields, let me know, as he's sort of listening, just not as much as usual. Being an owl is distracting. Charles almost sighs, but instead just looks grumpy, grumpier, its hard to tell with owls.

No, I mean like telepathy, shapeshifting, controlling magnetic fields and sometimes more physical mutations.

Doesn't it make you want to ruffle his feathers though? Assuming he won't cost you a finger that is.

The first two are something you generally need a Martian for back home, thinks Artemis, Does living really long count? If it does, there's Vandal Savage around... somewhere.

It definitely might. I study genetics and we're just finding out the possible variations.

It's 2010 back home and I don't think anyone's worked out why Savage hasn't dropped dead yet and there should be plenty of samples around. He gets in enough fights with the authorities and he's not actually invulnerable as far as I know.

Interesting, perhaps he heals quickly, that could prolong a life.

Could be. He might just age really slowly too.
