"I wonder if that's possible sometimes as it seems like the answer to doing one thing well is getting another one to do."

"Yes, that does seem to be the case more often than not," David agrees with a sigh.

Sam shrugs as he has no idea how to create more time other than coming to Milliways,

"How are your classes going?"

"All right. It's been rather a long term."

[makesthings]

"Its been a long year. What do you do to celebrate Winter?"

[smallgayjew]

"Hanukkah. It's...well, it's what my family celebrate."

[makesthings]

"What's it like? We have the Frost Festival."

[smallgayjew]

"It's based around the idea of light. So there are candles, and festivities, and it lasts for eight days."

"That sounds nice especially on long, cold nights."

[smallgayjew]

"Yes, it's quite lovely."

[makesthings]

"Do you have to do a lot of preparation for it?"

[smallgayjew]

"Mostly just baking."

[makesthings]

"That's good, an excuse to spend time in the kitchen since its always warmest there."

[smallgayjew]

"Well, it's quite warm throughout the house, really."

[makesthings]

"Oh right, that makes sense. I've just always liked being down near the kitchens during the winter, everything happens there,"

And usually the chores he gets pulled into aren't as hard as they are at other points.

"Yes, I've spent a lot of time there with my mum," David agrees.

"Mother's never been much of a baker, but she likes the kitchens."

[smallgayjew]

"What does she do in the kitchens, then?"

[makesthings]

"Get fed by the cooks and sometimes help if there's something they let her do. They usually don't ask her because of who she is."

[smallgayjew]

"Does she enjoy helping?"

[makesthings]

"I think so, we're not often there at the same time."
