David is more than happy to take over for a bit when he gets the note asking him to. He's under a bit of stress at uni (which is fairly standard), so he could use the distraction.

He even scribbles out a quick specials list.

David manages it after reading the instructions and slides the glass over to him.

"I hope it's right."

Enzo takes a sip.

"Tastes fine."

[smallgayjew]

"Oh, good."

It looks quite odd to David, but he isn't one to judge that sort of thing.

"I'm Enzo Matrix, by the way." He offers a hand.

[smallgayjew]

"David Posner," he says, taking the hand and shaking warmly.

[a1enzo]

The warmth of Enzo's own handshake is strictly figurative. 'Cause, y'know, no body heat.

"So what's this play?"

[smallgayjew]

"It's called The Importance of Being Earnest."

[a1enzo]

"Yeah, but what's it about?"

[smallgayjew]

"Oh! Well, it's about a man who pretends to have a brother so he can be as dissolute as he likes in town and perfectly respectable in the country."

[a1enzo]

"Huh! ...what's 'dissolute'?"

[smallgayjew]

"Dissolute? It's an adjective. Lax in morals or licentious."

[a1enzo]

Enzo's not 100% certain about 'licentious' either, but 'lax in morals' he gets.

"So how does pretending to have a brother help him with that?"

[smallgayjew]

"Because he pretends to be his brother in town."

[a1enzo]

"Ohhhh. Let me guess, in the play the whole scheme falls apart?"

[smallgayjew]

"Actually, he keeps it up for quite some time, but eventually he does have to admit the truth."

[a1enzo]

"Wouldn't be much of a play if he didn't."

Snicker. "So he's his own brother?" Fancy that...
