Snowball fight -- party post!
Contrary to popular belief, there is snow in the higher mountains of Greece and Asia Minor in winter.
When Antinoos came in from sweltering Thebes tonight and found snow outside, he got himself warm clothes like a Greek hunter or Roman soldier in winter would wear, and ran right outside. He had missed snow!
Now he's out there, enjoying the snow and the cold, and acting, for once, exactly as young as he is. After a while, he finds that he can't resist the idea of surprising some poor unfortunate (he's outside, so it's no violence, right), and when a somewhat small and scruffy fellow comes outside, he gets a soft, large snowball right in the face, from a safe position twenty yards away, in the bushes.
Ned Poins, however, is well versed with ambushes, so he spots soon where the attack came from, and gathers snow to retaliate, running towards the shrubbery -- and so, the battle is joined, and soon, there is a big white-and-brown dog yelping excitedly, and a big, blond Scotsman grinning widely and waiting to decide which side to take.
However, when you come outside today, you might get caught in the crossfire; or perhaps you'd like to join the battle just for the fun of it?
[[OOC: Party post -- tag in, then splat somebody else! Have at! Open until the weekend ends. Snowball fight as per this post.]]
[[ETA: Gone to bed now -- please threadhop and have the snowball fight among yourselves! Thanks!]]

She begins charging toward the tree in a combat stance. Cy should count himself fortunate she hasn't broken out the janis thorns.

Right?

"You are the challenger, I suppose."
no subject
Surely she doesn't think it's really a fight?
Nah.

She forms the next handful into a tightly packed ball of snow and slings it with all her might.
"How long does it take to fell an opponent with such weapons as these?"
no subject
"It's snow. You aren't supposed to knock someone down with it." Or at least you can't knock Cyborg down with it.
"You never saw snow before?" He holds his fire for now. It would be no fun at all to throw anything at her now.
no subject
She throws another big one at Cy's face.
"Good. I was hoping not to have to break your neck."
no subject
"It's just a game. Play. Fun.
"I can show you." He lifts a snowball from his arsenal.

Leela frowns slightly.
"I...suppose I found sparring fun as a child, and still do. But this is something different?"
no subject
"Till I win," he adds with a smile.
And throws that snowball at the woman. But not with much force.
no subject
"I think you overestimate your chances."
She grabs a large double handful of snow, packs it, and hurls it at the cyborg at full force.
no subject
"Oh, so you want to play rough?"
Time to match her efforts!

Her eyes narrow. Shen readies two more snowballs and throws them both with all of a warrior's strength.
no subject
Which means he can toss his next snowball a bit harder.

In any event, she had already begun preparing to dive out of the way when she threw her last snowball - as such, Cy's major league-quality snowball just manages to clip the back of her coat. She dives toward a snowbank, grabs a handful and throws on the move.

Scary.
"Had enough yet?"
But not scary enough to deter him.

A warrior of the Sevateem never surrenders. Not even in the face of snowmageddon. And speaking of face, Cy had better watch out right about now.

And that means he can take off the kid gloves. Smaller snowballs. Lots of them. Thrown just a bit harder.
But not too hard. It's still a game, after all.
