There is a new(ish) wench inside the bar
Tonight, that's not been seen
Before within this space, and likely
Will not be seen again too soon.

Ned Poins hath known the favour of a god
Upon a feast that suits for suchlike things
And waits to see the outcome of his trick.

Also, fieryTrigon is signed on,
As Poins has not yet found out how
The thing is turned off.-

"Guess?" she grins.

Sunshine chuckles, shaking. "Man, I am horrible at guessing things like this."

But she'll make an effort. Rae peers at her, trying to think of whose sister she could be. It's the thought of a pair of twins she went to school with, James and Joseph, that make her wonder if the brother to Nell might be "Ned?"

"Ned Poins?"

"Thou art exceeding clever, and the eyes within thine head do truly do their work," she lauds. "Indeed, 'tis he!"

Rae smiles.

"Is he your older brother, or younger brother?" she asks. "You must be pretty close in age."

In for a penny...

"My twin," she says.

"Really?" While the thought had occurred to her, it still surprises her a bit. "I didn't even know he had a sister. Admittedly, we haven't really talked about our families, so maybe it's not so surprising."

"My only siblings are my two half-brothers. They're both younger than me, and still live at home."

"And thou dost not?" she asks. "Thou livest in a place that is not home? A convent?"

The thought of her living in a convent makes her laugh. "If I were in a convent, it'd be filled with very well-fed nuns."

"I just meant I don't live with my mother and step-father anymore. I have my own place," she adds, grinning. "An upstairs apartment overlooking my landlady's garden, at the edge of a federal park."

"Thy own place by thyself, with gardens?" she says. "Thou truly art a lady, for a baker!"

"Just a baker, but one who clashes with her mother often enough that continuing to live at home was out of the question," Rae smiles. "I'm happy at my apartment, living on my own."

"Tis still a princely thing, to live all by oneself and not share rooms," she says.

"It's pretty much expected, where I come from, once someone gets to be eighteen or so," Rae replies. "Do you share rooms, in your where and when?"

"No virtuous maid would not!" she says. "And no loose wench could pay such."

"So you live at home with your family? Hope you get along better with your parents than I get along with mine."

Though Charlie's a good guy. It's Sunshine's mother who she clashes with all the time.

"My father's dead, my brother's mostly gone, and our mother is a true good woman," she says, only half-lying.

"I'm sorry to hear about your father. My own father is... well, missing." Presumed dead. "But my step-father is a good man."

"Does your brother know you've found Milliways, yet?"

"He doth not do so," she says. "I might not tell him, so he would not in jealousy try spoil my sport."

"Maybe he worries you'd try to do the same to him," Rae teases, smiling, knowing a little about being a sibling. "How did you find out he comes here, without him finding out about you in return?"

"He spoke of this, boasting much like a Scot after a battle!" she says.

"I am shocked," she says, chuckling. "That's just mean."

"You will have to get him back for all his boasting, somehow."

"I must fain hint at things that he cannot well boast of," she grins.

"Like what?" The possibilities are endless.

"That I have seen the inside of thine chamber?" she suggests. "That thou hast told me the deepest secret of thy most treasured recipe -- and I shall never make it for him, as a brother is not well worth such magic?"

"Well, my room isn't exactly an amazing thing. It's just where I sleep and keep my stuff while I'm here," she replies, considering. "Bitter Chocolate Death might be a bit much, considering the time frame... I could tell you the secret to my apple pie. It should be safe with you."

Rae might even pass along some of the cinnamon and nutmeg from the kitchen.

"Thou wouldst?"

An eager grin!
