Very slowly, she her head turns, and she's watching Logan.
It's the only part of her that moves.

"Rats don't get ticked at you sittin' on top of the furniture?"
no subject
"They haven't before."
Not that she'd care a lot if they were.
no subject
Knowing this place table sitting is probably the least of the staff's concerns.
It's also not like Logan really cares, either. The comment was acknowledgement that he knew she was there and staring. Now, he'll drink his booze and she can keep on looking, or she can get to whatever's on her mind.
Her call.
no subject
Eventually, she asks, "Do they get mad at you?"
no subject
They're wary of him, but as long as they bring him his drinks and don't let the kitchen overcook his steak, he and they are golden.
"Back home some people bitch about the furniture." Of course, he's usually breaking it or something rather than just sitting on it.

"I do things here I wouldn't do back home."

"You sure took your time coming back, pilgrim."
no subject
"Always a fire t'put out somewhere. Glad t'find this place back in one piece."
He pours and slides one of the glasses over to Jim.
no subject
"It is at that," Jim says. "About a year to the day, I think.
"Now, was it me that promised to buy you a beer, or the other way around?"

Drinking his shot, Logan sets the glass down and shrugs.
"Didn't much keep track." What with the Apocalypse going on an everything. "I don't mind gettin' the first if you'll pick up the next."
no subject
"This place is funny about time like that. Though more a Howard Hughes kind of funny than a Richard Pryor kind of funny."
no subject
"I come from a world where shit that goes down here is just run a' the mill, so... " He shrugs and takes a drink.
"How's life been treatin' you, Jimbo?"

With a curly straw.
Slowly, she leans in to take a sip from it and then goes back to idly flipping through a magazine.
no subject
"Well, shit."
And here he thought he might actually stay out of the cells this time in.

That being said, if Logan continues to stare, she will experience that slight prickling sensation that anyone typically gets when they have a feeling they're being watched.
When she does look up, naturally, her gaze scans the room and she pinches her lips together in a fleeting smile.

Or, it's Raven being Raven and the second he lets his guard down she'll be there sticking a knife in his kidney.
He gives her a short nod when she notices him, not betraying any recognition. If she doesn't know him that puts advantage in his favor.
no subject
She's not as good at Charles is as spotting fellow mutants, but she doesn't have the advantage of being able to look inside their heads.
Leaning across the bar, she spares a glance for the bottle in front of him, one leg dangling out from her seat on a closer stool.
"That all for you?"
no subject
He lets go of his shot glass and rests his hand beside it, fingers loosely curled; ready to make a fist in a heartbeat if he needs to.
When she speaks he glances over, casual with his usual stoicism.
"It does the trick."

Fry peeps back at Logan.
"Are you a cowboy? You have a Kate hat." he calls over.

"I think it's 'cowgirl'. Hey Logan." Guppy nods at him.
no subject
Logan returns the nod.
"Guppy."
no subject
"How are you keeping?" Guppy asks, getting himself a tea from the bar.
no subject
"Still kickin'," he answers Guppy. "You?"
