(no subject)

Remy had been feeling a little off for most the day, but a nap had only coaxed out more symptoms, chest feeling tight, and her breathing short and wheezy. Grumbling to herself, Remy makes her way downstairs, bee-lining straight for the infirmary for asthma meds she needs only once in a blue moon.

Sometime later, she can be found curled on one end of one of the couches and flipping idly though a book and her new inhaler resting on the coffee table in front of her.

Botherable either in the infirmary, or afterwards on the couch. Chances are she's not going to stop for you on her way to the infirmary.

Helen finds her on the couch, reading. She seems decidedly less herself than the last time she saw her. She looks...worn. Her concern can't be helped, whether it's encouraged by the mother in her or the doctor. When she approaches, her tone is gentle. "Not feeling well?"

(I must sleep now because it's way past my bedtime. But should be around tomorrow night to continue. Also, I swear I will be on AIM again one of these days. I've been horrid with social things lately.)

"And they're doing their job?"

She nods, seemingly satisfied by that answer. It eases her concern, at least. "Would you mind terribly if I kept you company for a few hours?"

"I'm afraid I'm still getting used to this place."

"I'm accustomed to the unusual, but I'll admit, nothing quite like this."

She offers a soft, amused smile. "My patients are a rather unique group of individuals."

"A little of both, I'm afraid. It certainly makes my job more difficult. But I wouldn't have it differently."

"I've always thought so."
