In Walks An Immortal
It has been a while since Milliways has seen this immortal.
The door opens and in walks a woman dressed for the 1600s. When she see's where she is a large smile crosses her face and she takes another step inside before closing the door behind her. WIth a quick glance around for anyone she might know before heading to the bar itself where she orders a glass of wine.

He has the smallest of his three kids on his knee; Brooke is engaged in nomming gummily on a rusk.

"Eh!" Brooke says.

"Hello There" she greets the little one, "And what is your name?"

"How are things back home?"

He passes Brooke over to her for a cuddle, since Brooke is reaching out. Unlike Coral, who was tiny and ex-prem, Brooke is a strong, well-built infant.

He hesitates. Things at Milliways haven't been great, but he doesn't want to worry her when Security are tackling it, or to cause more trouble for Autor if he's innocent.
"I've been having some anxiety problems again." he admits. That part is true anyway. "Fran took me to the doctor and I got my medication changed. Been getting a few side effects."
no subject
"What sort of side effects?" as nonchalantly as she can, after all she doesn't want to concern the baby on her lap.

"I used to get the same problem when I changed dose with my old medication so it's not something I can't live with. And now I'm the boss I have more opportunity to have a quiet moment in the office."

"It's a one year contract, but thank you. I'm hoping to apply for my former boss' job when he retires next year."
