This holiday is excellent.

Earlier, the TARDIS read the explanatory screen from end to beginning, and again, starting somewhere in the middle.

She likes middles. So much of things is made up of middles.

She's in the middle of something right now.

Specifically, she's in the middle of the floor of a 1960s British Police Box, which she built almost entirely out of blue Legos, and some black ones and white ones, and the occasional purple one, here and there.

It's smaller on the inside than she was expecting, but at least the doors open out the way, properly, when you pull them, as you should, rather than push them, as he does.

She has also, after careful review of her options, acquired webby finny fishy hands. And those, in turn, have required the acquisition of pudding.

So. One TARDIS. Sitting in a replica of a 1960s Police Box. With fish fingers. And custard.

"There, there.

"Would you like some custard?"

He hadn't realized that was what she was eating and goes over to look at it and maybe venture a paw out.

"It's very good with fingers."

She it on excellent authority.

He should definitely stick a paw in.

Since she says he can he dips his paw in and tastes it, it is good and he licks all of it off his paw.

"I don't think that look suits you at all.

"The ears are wrong.

"Totally wrong."

He looks at her and chitters to explain that he's only trying the shape out, but he thinks he's a handsome weasel.

"Why do you think you're handsome?

"I'm beautiful. My thief said so."

She is beautiful but he doesn't know her thief. He normally is if not handsome, nice to look at, people tell him so and he knows how to look more attractive.

"Do you believe everything people tell you?

"Do you believe anything people tell you?"

No, he doesn't but he knows that he's seen as attractive and forgettable. Its a mix that he knows how to make work.

"Ah.

"You have a perception filter."

Those are handy.

He starts and stops before giving her a confused look, he thought everyone had them though he's never heard it called that.

Chameleon circuit, he doesn't know what that is but its sounds very useful. He settles down next to her to see if she'll tell him more, he's a good listener.

Well, she'll tell him more about something.

There's really no knowing what, though.

"He doesn't always get me properly fixed.

"But he's my thief.

"I stole him."

How did she steal him? Stealing a person is far more difficult than taking a thing.
