It's been a long day. A lot of her days are, but this one is endless. Tedius. Packed with three times as many minutes. Even when her heart is lightened by the smile of each student for the fraction of a second, and when Emma will be waiting with chinese and ice cream when it does finally end.
Sometimes even the best things only make the worst ones ache more.
Which might be why Mary Margaret has a, long since cold, cinnamon hot chocolate.
