"Alright, now where's the other one?"
...
"The one that bit my tail, wise guy."
...
If anyone is curious, that is a big red guy pinning a tiny Treasure Troll doll to the wall by its florescent pink hair.
Just because the doll can't talk doesn't mean he can't interrogate it. And just because there's no heard reply to his questions doesn't mean what it isn't saying isn't pissing him off.
"What?! I outta-- " And that is the big red guy hauling his Big Stone Fist back like he's going to slug the little doll. Which, he just might, given the circumstances and ignoring theprobable possible property damage.

[ooc:sorry for the disappear, there was food, and then there was being on the roof working on the AC. I'll be around about another hour, and this can stay open for slows until it scrolls. And bedtime. Shall pick up tags tomorrow.]

"What, you know this guy?"
no subject
The part of his mind that isn't nearly paralyzed recalls Red's words to the toy he is holding. "Do you understand them?"
no subject
Turning to face the guy fully, the doll now dangling at his side, Red's eyes narrow on Anton.
"Listen, comrade," he says, that 'comrade' not sounding too friendly at all, "you stop what you're doing, or you and me, we're gonna have problems." Of the five-fingered Mary variety.
no subject
"I am sorry. I am Anton Gorodetsky, of the Moscow Night Watch. I do not have much experience with demons ad well, defensive habit. Again, sorry. Do you understand the...toy?"
He is not quite sure what it is as trolls aren't very big in Russia.
no subject
"Hellboy, Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense. And yeah, I can talk to this guy, but he ain't saying nothing useful."
Lifting the troll doll up, he gives it a good shaking by the hair. The troll turns its nose up even as it's jangled around.
"There's a pull duck around here somewhere, and that little punk bites."
no subject
"I am hunting an item cursed by a witch that I think is behind all this. Could you ask it how it came to be? It might prove useful." Anton holds no illusions but protocols can be tried. "If I can take care of the item, all of this should be dispelled."
no subject
Poking the Treasure Troll in its belly with his stone figure, Red says, "Well, you heard him. Where's the witchy-do that made you?"
In answer, the troll doll pulls its legs up, and shakes its bare rear at Anton and Hellboy.
no subject
"I did not think that would work. A Dark witch? Russian?" This Hellboy is maybe from a different world for to Anton there is only one kind of witch.
"Perhaps I can see the ties to the witch's tool, can you hold the toy still...Arrrh." The reason for his cry is quickly apparent as he pulls his foot up to show the pullduck firmly clamped onto his ankle.

"This guy has it coming."

Around here it's hard to be sure.

"You going John Law on me here, kid?" He's hurt, Enzo. Hurt and annoyed, but chances are he'll be more curious in a minute about when and where Enzo got the security badge.

The doll turns its big
creepyinnocent eyes on Enzo, clearly pleading for help."Besides, this place survived an apocalypse, you really think I'd bring it down with one swing?" He's... actually kind of flattered there. His proud, almost smirk turns into a scowl when he sees what the doll is trying to pull.
"Hey! No doe eyes here, pal. Kid, this thing has evil written all over it, trust me."
no subject
He leans closer to look at the thing. It's definitely looking at him, and that could be considered a pleading expression in the right light, but it's kinda glassy.
no subject
"This guy is in cahoots with the duck that bit my tail." Yes, he just used 'cahoots', and he's after a duck. "Plus, he was being creepy. Just look at him!"
Red shoves the troll doll closer to Enzo's face so he can get a look at the Evil it possesses.
The troll doll folds its hands together like its praying to Enzo for help.

He adjusts his glasses. "Did it really mouth off to you, though?"

What's the point of punching something if it's just going to be 'fine'?
"He thinks he's cute, I'm about to show him different." Or he was.

The eying falls on Autor at the question.
"Of course I'm not. Why, what's going on?"
no subject
The boy raises a brow. "As you've seen," he says, "toys are springing up and acting maliciously. Do you think this is a 'bar thing' or is there a discernable source?"
no subject
It just smiles and bobs its head, clearly not about to give any clues.
Maybe he'll take it outside and see how far he can throw it.
"I dunno. With this place who can tell?"
no subject
He wrinkles his nose at the troll, which sticks its tongue out. "In any case, that thing is really annoying."
no subject
"Yeah, I have half a mind to launch him out into the inlet, let the squid have 'em." Now There's an idea. He looks at the troll doll and smirks.
"Do you know if these things have hurt anyone, or are they just annoying?"
