Jack Benjamin -- or Prince Jonathan of Gilboa, but he won't insist -- steps into the Bar and closes the door on the party behind him. As confusing as it is to find a bar in the palace, he's got a look of eager anticipation.

"What is this place?"

"This is nicer than what I expected," Jack says as he looks around. "It's almost homey."

"It's nicer than what I thought I was getting," he says. "I don't stay here entirely often, but when the bar gives you a room...well." He can't say he's unhappy with it, though. It's comfortable.

"What do you mean, when the bar gives you a room?"

He was too busy flirting to get the details on the bar itself.

"You can stay here," he replies. "The downstairs in the bar, but quite a lot of people do live here. You can ask the bar--don't worry if there's no one there--for a room key, and you'll get one."

"Oh, if only I could stay forever," Jack says and lounges on the bed, tossing his cap aside. He licks his lips and smiles. "So."

"Possible, but inadvisable," Ganymede chuckles, moving towards the bed so he can climb up on it, toeing his boots off and getting as close to Jack as is possible without being literally in his lap.

"Cabin fever sets in sooner or later, as they say."

"It would be a lovely time before the cabin fever sets in. Nothing to do but drink and fuck..."

"There is an outdoors, not that it'd stop you drinking and fucking," he says, with a quick and laughing kiss. "In fact, it's fair game out there, and up here. Only the bar room itself has rules."

"Mm, outdoors," murmurs Jack as he kisses back. "Never one it outdoors."

"Mmm. I could show you a thing or two about it," he replies, pulling back only far enough to take a breath and speak. "Depending on how dirty you like getting. Beds, however, are more comfortable for the long run."

"Can't say how dirty I like getting. I've hardly had the chance to find out."

He runs a hand over the bedspread. "This is a very comfortable bed, though. Very promising."

"You've certainly got the time to explore around here."

Jack traces the front of Ben's shirt, and then says slowly, "I may not want a guide. I want to be clear about that."

He can't help the gentle grin that tilts up a corner of his mouth, twisting open the buttons of his shirt as Jack's fingers pass them. "I'm not really looking to become one," he says lightly. "One-night stands with occasional repeats are alright by me."

Or without the occasional repeat, too; he's got an exceedingly casual mindframe about intimacy.

"Good," murmurs Jack, leaning into him again, "glad we're on the same page." He kisses Ben slowly.

He settles into the kiss and over Jack's lap, hips canting forward so his back curves in a slouch. "I don't mind being a fling," he chuckles, leaning in and kissing back. "Especially not with someone so handsome."

"Oh, you're a sweet one," murmurs Jack, running his hands up Ben's back. "Flings are my speciality."

He just laughs at that, stroking his fingertips over the back of Jack's neck, and up over his nape. "Mine as well." Possibly they're talking about two entirely different ideas here, but still the sentiment stands. "Do you want me here in your lap?"

Jack shivers as Ben strokes his neck. "Yeah, this is good."

"Good," he murmurs, nipping his partner's earlobe gently.

Jack tilts his head to the side with a soft moan of appreciation.

With a little chuckle, Ganymede tilts Jack's head back, tugging at his clothes gently. "Let me take these off for you."

Jack grins and leans back as if he's offering himself. "Yes, by all means."

It's so refreshing, being wanted for himself instead of because of who his father is.

He doesn't rush it, but Jack's clothes come off steadily and Ganymede kisses each patch of skin as it's exposed, sliding down until he's lying on his stomach and pressing absent kisses to his new lover's waist.

Jack combs his fingers lazily through Ben's hair.
