Ako has been adjusting to her currently long hair.

(Sonic showers? Very handy, if not as relaxing as a good soak.)

But right now she's going to go for a run outside with her hair braided up.

Feel free to catch her around the lake.

Later, after she has cleaned up, she's staring at the front door like she never expected to see it again.
She kind of didn't.

[OOC: Responses will be slow, but I should be tagging again. If you want a long chat, catch her on her run anything in front of the door is going to be quick. ~Going home~.]

Staring at the Door is only likely to mean one thing.

"Ako? Are you... is it back?"

"It is," she says, not looking away.

"I have no idea what I'm going to say about my hair."

Which is so trivial, but it's sticking out in her mind right now.

"Do you want me to cut it for you?"

He has no clue about giving haircuts, User or sprite, but he knows she's going to want to go home as soon as she possibly can, and he's right here.

"It would probably be straighter than doing it myself. Maybe around shoulder length?"

And then she can run out and get a real haircut first thing in the morning. That is something like a plan. Yes.

"Sure. Um... you okay leaving the Door while I do it?"

He'll understand if she wants to stay where she is, but this doesn't seem like the best place for it.

Ako drags her focus away from the door to him.

"It's not like I'd be able to catch it before it disappears," she admits slowly, "How far away were you thinking? I've got scissors with me."

For just such an occasion.

"Yeah, but when you cut human hair it gets all over the place, right?"

"If we tied it back first and cut it above the elastic.."

Probably not everything though. Bother.

She asks hesitantly, "Were you thinking about outside?"

"Or a bathroom. Though if you'd rather stay put... I mean, I can clean it up after. Maybe we could catch it in... I dunno, a bowl or something?"

"I am tempted to go through the door and lean back in to get the trim."

After a beat, "Outside is probably best. Less cleaning."

"Yeah. I'll do it as quick as I can."

On the way out Ako will hand Enzo the gift wrapped scissors and pull her hair back into a ponytail.

Between glances back at the door.

Enzo gently urges her toward the back door by a shoulder. The quicker they get outside, the quicker they'll have this done.

Once they're out and settled on a good sitting rock, he tugs her ponytail holder a little lower. Then, trying to be careful and straight, he cuts the hair above it.

Hmmmm.

"Hmmm."

It is a bit long still.

"Could I have the ponytail that came off Enzo-san? I should be able to pass until I can get a trim at home now."

Maybe?

"Sure, here. Do you want me to try to fix that bit?"

There is always that bit.

"Thanks."

Into the sylladex it goes.

"No, I'll grab a ball cap from Bar-san. That should cover anything until I can get something more professional once it's actually morning. Back home."

Which is weird to have as a option again.

"Okay." Probably wisest. "I guess you're good to go, then."

"Okay."

Deep breath.

"Wish me luck?"

"Good luck."

Hug?

Yes please.

"Let people know if they ask and you hear before I can get something up on T-minus?"

"Of course."
