William's been exploring the library and found an author who's name is vaguely familiar but that he hasn't read, Herman Melville.
Moby Dick looks like a good, engrossing read and he takes it downstairs, orders some hot chocolate and cookies before settling down in a chair by the fire.
His days are full at home since the cattle drive is coming up, so he's going to take advantage of Milliways and read while he can.
