Jess is in better spirits with this whole kid thing which is why she is up in the shadows of the rafters. Having decided to give this kid thing an honest try, she's now observing how kids act since her experience (both as a kid and being around kids) is so damned limited. Why HYDRA felt teen movies were important for her cultural training but kid's movies weren't is beyond her.

Her spying would likely be less noticeable without her two blonde ponytails hanging from the shadows.

You would think that with all the spying going on from the rafters that someone would dust once in a while and do something to silence the creaking noises that the rafter sometimes let out as a complaint about the extra unexpected load.

The strawberry blonde teenager who is eating chili cheese fries down below shouldn't have noticed someone in the rafters, but for the adult mind hiding out inside that couldn't stop worrying that the thing in the rafters could be A CAT ABOUT TO POUNCE ON HER FROM ABOVE LOOK UP LOOK UP AND DEFEND YOURSELF.

Oh... cats don't have blonde ponytails.

She blinks a few times and then waves. "Hello!"

Are all kids here acrobats? WTF.

The girl freezes for a moment, not sure what to do but then the teen-aged girl below is being friendly, so she smiles and decides to try making another friend. Crawling from the shadows--why yes, she is crawling on the wall--she waves.

"Hello. Those smell good."

At the wall-crawling she headtilts and mutters, "Well, that's really new."

"They are good. I have never seen a potato served this way. Little potato sticks. It's more fun than eating a potato with a spoon."

She'll just have to hold her questions about wall-crawling until later.

"They look like chips," the girl says as she gets to a spot where she can jump down, which she does, though a little awkwardly. "But what is that on top?"

"The most delicious potato topping ever — a bit of meat, a bit of cheese, and a bit of peppers. Though, I have never seen cheese that melts in this way. I don't think the peppers come from my world either."

She pick out a fry and makes sure to wind the strings of cheese that come along araound the fry before popping it in her mouth. Eating chili cheese fries takes skill.

"Oh, bit of garlic and onions, too."

Jess stands there shyly for a moment, wondering if she should ask to try some or if she should order some of her own, when her stomach growls. Laughing awkwardly, she says, "I think maybe it's lunch time."

"Do you want to share? If there isn't enough to fill us up, I can order another."
